2. Rubina Ashraf for Khuda Aur Muhabbat
Your shift from joyful mother who just bid farewell to her daughter dressed as a stunning bride to a helpless sadness was utterly heart-wrenching. Rubina Ashraf we felt you in every hesitant tone, in your painful expressions and teary-eyed farewell. Your shock at registering the full gravity of how fortunes had changed overnight for your daughter struck home in an instant – you wore a mother’s heart on your sleeve.
3. Rabia Butt for Pehli Si Muhabbat
Rabia jee aap phir baazi le gayeen. Your clarity in explaining Faizullah vs Farooq to Rakshi won our hearts. You are every woman’s voice! Nargis’ principled stance on all things ‘log kya kahenge’ has our hearts every time!
4. Zain Baig for Yaar Na Bichray
Husband goals much? Zain Baig you have broken the mould in your patience & gentle responses to all of Palwishe’s angry & frustrated reactions. Azer is winning hearts in every episode! We’re hoping you get the girl … eventually!
5. Shaista Lodhi for Pardes
Zoobi, your eyes speak where words fail you. Shaista jee takes on the screen with so much magnetism & emotion – we are rooting for you Zoobi – your strength, your goodness & your courage shine through. You have struck a chord inside many hearts who might relate with what you’re going through – you’re making us root for each one of them!
6. Sarmad Khoosat for Pardes
Ahsan, whether you are in pardes, or back home. We feel your presence in every episode. The sadness in your voice, the determination to care for your family, the gentle mannerisms & your super chemistry with Zoobi are giving us major love feels.
7. Jenaan Hussain for Neeli Zinda Hai
Nagina you were like a breath of fresh air in the frame. Your energy onscreen, your mannerisms, uninterrupted flow in dialogue was a pleasure to watch. You slipped into character from the get go & we’re loving it! Hoping to catch more from you in successive episodes!
8. Syed Jibran in Safar Tamam Howa
Jamal you aced the ‘shades of grey’ villain with great ease. Your inner confusion, your childhood deprivations, your sibling rivalry were all delivered with a subtle, on point portrayal that made Jamal so believable for us. Despite your dark intentions, your behind the scenes conspiracies, you still had our hearts!
9. Samina Ahmed for Safar Tamam Howa
The wise mother hen who tends to her flock with tender loving care, and a firm hand. Yet, she is not faultless. We love the human in your motherly role, we felt your pain, and your joy. Thank you Samina jee for delivering a character that spoke to us in so many ways!
10. Wahaj Ali for DNUTN
Jimmy aap toh le gaye baazi. Your eyes, your stunned expression, your entire body language spoke volumes when you discovered Rakhi! Aankhen num theen & we know we weren’t the only ones crying. This is what we were waiting for throughout the story & we got it at last!
11. Yumna Zaidi for DNUTN
Sumbul your voice when you sang carried the pain of the world. Your swift change from Sumbul to Rakhi & back to Sumbul darling was heart breaking. There is no character you can’t perform Yumna, & you proved it this week!
