Sajal Aly As Aliya in Kuch Ankahi
Loving how Aliya was shown to be firm yet slightly hesitant as well, when dealing with Azfar. It makes the character so much more relatable, interesting and an example for many. Also, how Sajal Aly depicts the emotional side of a daughter trying desperately to do something for her father is heart touching.
Sheheryar Munawar as Azfar in Kuch Ankahi
Appreciate how Sheheryar Munawar portrays the seemingly angry but in reality, the vulnerable side of Azfar as Aliya talks to him firmly. The subtlety is winning us.
Mohammad Ahmed as Agha Jaan in Kuch Ankahi
What a winning scene when Agha Jaan talks with Aliya at the dinner table and then proceeds to feed her. Muhammad Ahmed Sahib is making Agha Jaan such an interesting character to watch.
Bilal Ashraf as David in Yunhi
Bilal Ashraf gives a heart winning performance as he subtly portrays the frustration and irritation Dawood feels with Kim’s behaviour. It is so interesting that Dawood sways between firmness and unsurety as sometimes, he is cornered into doing what Kim asks of him.
Maha Hasan as Ashley in Jurm
Interesting performance and role by Maha Hassan in Jurm as the YouTube reporter/blogger. She was bold, brave, passionate but not scared to change and accept her mistakes. It was definitely interesting to watch her as she kept us intrigued as to what this character does next.
Wahaj Ali as Daniyal in Jurm
There was something about Daniyal which made us like him no matter what. The tenderness of his character in wanting to love a woman older than him was heartening to watch.
Tooba Sidiqui as Samiya in Jurm
She was endearing yet intriguing. Tooba Siddiqui kept us hooked to her role, making us wonder if she was involved in the kidnapping or was she innocent.
Rabya Kulsoom as Neelo in Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha
Applause for Rabiya Kulsoom as she portrays Neelo, the stubborn yet caring sister. She refused to apologize to Maheer and stood her ground, but she never left her brother’s side, speaking to him alone later, to explain things.
Wahaj Ali as Murtasim in Tere Bin
Murtasim the tragic hero atop a cliff, and then silently bewildered at Waqas’ allegations, Wahaj Ali makes us wonder what Murtasim is thinking with powerful expressions in every scene.
Farhan Ally Agha as Waqas in Tere Bin
Waqas delivered a convincing soliloquy on parenting, giving father goals by defending a daughter before intimidating in laws. Well played Farhan Ally Agha!
