1. Hamza Sohail as Farhad in Burns Road K Romeo Juliet
What an impactful performance by Hamza as Kiran confronts him. The realization, the shock of discovering Kiran’s reality – it all hit him at the same time.
2. Shaheera Jalil as Kiran in Burns Road K Romeo Juliet
Probably one of our favorite characters this week, as there’s no stopping Kiran when she realizes what Farhad has done. The dialogues where she keeps repeating, “Why did it happen even once…?” were heartbreaking. Shaheera made us feel for Kiran and also made us proud for confronting Farhad.
3. Hiba Bukhari as Eman in Radd
The beautiful journey that Eman has embarked upon to find out more about Salaar and slowly fall for him, is endearingly portrayed by Hiba Bukhari.
4. Sheheryar Munawar as Salaar in Radd
Sheheryar is for sure doing a brilliant job in portraying Salaar – someone who is not so sure about himself, but his love for Eman brings out his courage. He is changing how heroes are portrayed.
5. Sheikh Mubashir as Roshan in Zard Patton Ka Bun
Mubashir is definitely a great addition to the industry as we recently saw him in some projects. His character in ZPKB as Roshan has won us all over completely with his solid and heartening performance.
6. Laiba Khurram as Wadeema in Teri Chhaon Mein
Laiba’s performance is mentioned worthy. Her character in this drama is very serious and deep. Her apt portrayal of Wadeema does not make it seem that she is a new entrant in the industry.
7. Saba Hameed as Noor Jahan in Noor Jahan
What an aura Saba Hameed emits through her character. It is an absolute pleasure to watch her in this role. She has made the role interesting, rather than boring and unbearable.
8. Mohib Mirza as Hassan in Jafaa
The mystery that surrounds Hassan’s personality… Mohib has delivered that slight mystery and greyness very aptly. You wonder, is there really something wrong or it is just a figment of your imagination?
