Week Ending: 1st May 2021
Okay so to begin with, this week’s episode of Shaurya and Anokhi Ki Kahani left many of its fans disappointed and I hate to say this but I am one of them. Unfortunately, the drama is losing its charm and uniqueness as it is now following the traditional route of Indian dramas and adopting the same ghisa pita formula like many other Indian dramas.
This week’s episode was all about the unnecessary build up misunderstandings between Shaurya and Anokhi. Firstly, who announces an engagement without the groom knowing? Secondly, how was the whole Sabarwal family able to come to Goa just in time for Anokhi’s birthday? And what is Shagun’s obsession with Shaurya especially when she knows that he is not in love with her? We really detest the over-dramatized moments of Anokhi and Bari Ma where Bari Ma kicks Anokhi out of the house.
But, thank heavens there were some moments in between that were a sight for sore eyes!
The scenes of Kanchan were simply brilliant! We love the rebellious bahu of the house who is not afraid to take a stand for herself and speak for what she believes in. Then, of course we got teary-eyed seeing Anokhi waiting outside Sabharwal house just to see Shaurya. And we certainly cannot miss the return of Shaan and Astha back in the show. We are thrilled to catch more of their scenes.
Lastly, I would like to point out the incredible message that the makers of SAAKK communicated towards the end of the last episode of the week. The interaction and conversation between Astha and Anokhi was priceless. We adore Anokhi for keeping her self-respect and her dreams first and for not allowing anyone to crush them.
The makers are giving a great message of self-love and women empowerment and that loving someone does not mean you compromise your identity for them. Love should not be the reason for you to kill your ambitions, but instead it should be the reason for you to grow and become the best version of yourself.
Nonetheless, like any other week the tweets made us all laugh. Here are some of them!

Despite, this week’s boring episode we are hoping that the show will start to pick up from here!
And so are we!
It is not only the lead couple that we love, but we are equally in awe of #AShaan.
And amidst all that over-dramatization these scenes made us all smile!
The end of the last episode really did have us! We absolutely adore how they showed Anokhi standing up for herself!

And in the end we SAAKK fans still have our hopes high that next week’s episodes will bring some respite!
So, let’s hope that the makers do not disappoint us any further and we get to see some quality family time for Anokhi, Shaan, Shaurya and Astha as well as some much needed adorable and aww worthy moments between Shaurya and Anokhi!
