Starring Imran Ashraf, Urwa Hussain and Ali Abbas, the new drama serial Badzaat is all set to air on 2nd March on GEO.
Written by Misbah Nosheen, Badzaat is directed by the ace filmmaker, Siraj-ul-Haque who has also directed dramas including Fitoor, Bunty I Love You, and Raaz-e-Ulfat which starred Yumna Zaidi, Gohar Rasheed, and Shehzad Sheikh.

Badzaat will mark the first time Imran Ashraf and Urwa Hussain have paired up together after their hit serial, Mushk.
Other cast members also include Ali Abbas, Mehmood Aslam, Saba Faisal, Nida Mumtaz, Zainab Qayyum, Sidra Niazi, Zoya Nasir, Sajida Syed, Zohreh Amir, Ayesha Mirza, Hanif Muhammad, Danial Zafar, and Anas Ali Imran among others.
The first teaser focuses on Imran Ashraf’s character. He will be essaying the role of a man who since his childhood, has been burdened with the reputation associated with him of being Badzaat (low-born) as he is born to a dancer. This has cultivated him into becoming a violent man who finds it hard to draw the line.

On the other hand, Biya’s character, essayed by Urwa Hussain is of a naive girl who lives in a protected shell. She is full of life and knows how to hold her ground. In the final shot of Urwa’s character introduction trailer, she says “mein akeli barbaad nehi hoongi ye sab meray sath barbaad hoongi.” We are wondering what that is about!
Urwa’s Teaser
Ali Abbas will be the antagonist in this drama. We are guessing he is probably Wali’s (Imran Ashraf) half-brother. From the looks of it, both don’t get along and tensions may thicken further when the character of Biya enters their lives.
Zoya Nasir, we are assuming, will play the role of Wali’s sister. A rebel, Zoya’s character wants to pursue acting and is ready to take a stand for herself.
In this domestic dynamic and sibling rivalry ridden narrative enters Biya. A strong plot, domestic politics, and a love triangle are what we are expecting from Badzaat. Starting from 2nd March, we are looking forward to its first episode.
