Week Ending: 24th September 2021
This week’s episodes of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 were centered around the new relationships that are forming as a result of the two weddings between the Kapoors and Soods. The story proceeded at a normal pace with the issues in discussion quickly wrapped up. This aided in retaining the audience’s interest.

As Ram and Priya venture on a new journey they are faced with countless obstacles which, unfortunately, are a result of the selfishness of their own families. However, something that we can be sure of is, that even unknowingly, they will have each other’s back. Ram turns hero as he sides with Priya’s family when the truth about her father unveils. Ram’s talk with Priya’s mother was a moment to be cherished. The delicacy in that conversation with the emotions flowing like a river captured our attention and made us dot on ‘Mr. Kapoor’.
Another thing that was highlighted in these episodes was Priya signing the pre-nup contract. It was honestly painful to see Priya in such a vulnerable state. Disha Parmar Vaidya ruled the screen in all those scenes and enabled us to see the hidden layers of Priya’s personality. Till now she has done an incredible job in playing Priya, keeping the right balance between her simplicity and her fiery nature.

In addition, we adore how independent and strong Priya is shown. Kudos to her for managing all the paper work regarding the loan work entirely on her own. Our favourite interaction between Ram and Priya has to be the last scene of the last episode for this week in which Ram realizes the pain Priya is undergoing and says that she deserves to smile. This concluded the entire week’s episodes and brought meaning and value to all the efforts Ram was putting in initially to make Priya happy, just because his sister asked him to.
Another point worth highlighting is the emphasis on the bond shared between Ram and Brenda. Their friendship is wholesome on many levels and we love how Brenda always has her back and wishers her well Also, we like that she is ready to give Priya a chance and wants the new relationship to work.

Something that has often made us a bit disconnected in between the episodes is the over-dramatization in some of the scenes. The family drama that is caused by their own family becomes unbearable to watch at times and we wish it was toned down a bit. Nevertheless, we are looking forward to the next episode and are excited to see Ram and Priya tie the knot.
Till then, here are some tweets for you to look at:
