Did you expect to hear wedding bells ringing in this episode as Ram and Priya (our RamYa) get married? Honestly, so did I! But unfortunately, I was left disappointed along with many viewers as the drama and conflict around Priya and Ram’s wedding continued and watching the promo, there is no end to it soon.
However, Ram and Priya played by Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta, most certainly left a mark with their performance. The growing understanding and their mutual respect for each other has our hearts. We adore how accommodating Ram is shown to be and that how he always is there in the hour of need. From summoning children from Priya’s NGO to the last scene of this week’s last episode, where he deliberately delays everyone to the venue and plans on calling Priya’s father to the wedding, made us emotional. Likewise, we look forward to the part where Priya will eventually become the support system for Ram and aid him in realizing his true self-worth – which is somewhat lost in his efforts to win his family over.

The characters of Ram and Priya aren’t the conventional characters you get to see on screen. Ram is shown to be a happy go lucky guy who is optimistic about every situation rather than being the angry young man who is aggressive. The later has become a standard characterization and we appreciate how they changed it in BALH2. Likewise, for Priya there are multiple layers to her character and shades of grey, making her character realistic.
As of now, we are eagerly waiting for the upcoming episodes to see Ram and Priya get married and we hope that the misunderstandings and the drama leading to it is wrapped up soon. Till then here are some tweets to look at:
