Kiran’s Dilemma
Should Kiran stand up to Shahzain or should she ask her family to arrange the car because that might lessen the damage done to Shahzain’s ego by Farhad. Kiran and Shahzain’s story represents so many couples who are plagued by ego and jahez issues. Kiran is that average girl who is trying to make her marriage work, hoping the red flags are just temporary. But is Shahzain’s behaviour reason enough for Kiran to walk away? Even if the car is arranged and Shahzain becomes fine, will she ever be able to forget this side of him?
Action, Action and More Action!
The action sequence shown as Freeya and Farhad run away is worth mentioning. It was thrilling, stressful and fun to watch giving us total filmy feels. Hamza Sohail did a great job as an action hero and Fajar Raza managed to make his mark as a director who can give us a a well-choreographed, adrenaline pumping action sequence. Thank God we finally got to see some street scenes and local areas.
A Love Story To Love!
Despite all their challenges, both Freeya and Farhad maintain the dynamics of their relationship – teasing each other, making fun of each other and at the same time, expressing their love in cute ways. The card with malpura and rabri was definitely a cute moment.
Messages For Young & Old
Farhad’s uncle tries to deliver a reality check to his brother, warning him not to lose his son completely. The dialogues must have resonated with many young adults facing resistance from their parents when it comes to making life choices.
The dialogue exchange between Shaggu phupo and Hamid was a great conversation, highlighting the true reality of society and human beings. We judge and criticize others, causing pain and hurt, completely forgetting that we also have daughters and we must be more sensitive.
