Burns Road Kay Romeo Juliet Continues The Flying Pace & We’re Loving It!

A filmy discovery of Farhaad and Freeya’s love, all thanks to the zaalim bhabi. Not just that, a surprising confession of love by Freeya. BRKRJ is your dramatic love story with a truly filmy feel and vibe. It reminds you of this old love story where people in love would take on the entire world and not care what happens next. And did we really need that slap?
Trouble In La La Land
Should Farhaad have told Freeya the truth from day one? And as he feared, would she have given him a chance if she knew the truth about him? But it also makes us wonder, a love story that begins on a lie, can that really survive…?
Gujrati Feels
It is definitely fun to listen to random dialogues in Gujrati throughout the episode. As we get to know what to eat with Malpuras and how the community never entertains marriage proposals for their daughters outside their cast, the drama is surely educating many of us on their culture and practices. Happy to see our dramas doing more than just relating aimless stories.
It might be 2024, but many young people are facing these issues where they have progressed in their thought process but their families are still stuck in tradition. We are hoping BRKRJ will bring about the much needed change.
Freeya Love & A Dose Of Romance
We are loving Freeya’s character. The character is not over the top. She is intelligent, smart and confident but never crosses a line to become excessively overbearing.
The motorcycle scene was heart-winning and so romantic. It showed the progression of their relationship; the trust, the intimacy of having someone you are confident with. It was also shot beautifully making the viewers going through the entirety of that emotion.
When Freeya dared him to come to the wedding, we didn’t think it would lead to them being discovered. Small moments like these make the story so much more interesting and they are also new ways of portraying the relationship between two people falling in love. She dared him and he took the dare, not knowing they will both dare their families to put a stop to their love story in future.
Jojo – The Friend We All Need
Last but not the least, Jojo is winning us. We are all wishing for a cousin like him. It is refreshing to see a character written so interestingly, who is not just a side-kick to the hero but is actually making us want to follow his character’s story and is always that voice of support, courage and wisdom that Farhaad needs.
Kiran’s Dilemma
Kiran chose to survive her marriage and not tell the truth about Shahzain to anyone, despite Farhaad asking her repeatedly. Her behaviour represents a majority of girls who try to pretend things are normal even when they’re going horribly wrong.
Shaggo phoppo and Hamid’s encounters are always interesting and make us smile. We are enjoying the manner of storytelling where the writer and director are showing a different kind of love story within the main love story.
