Education is a fundamental right, yet millions of children remain unseen, unheard, and excluded. The Rabia Basri Foundation (RBF) is committed to ensuring that no child is left behind—whether neurotypical or neurodiverse.

Background
Established in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, RBF was founded by a team of experienced educators addressing the unmet educational needs of children in Pakistan. However, research quickly revealed a broader crisis—neurodiverse and differently-abled children face significant barriers to education worldwide.
Recognizing this, RBF evolved into a USA-registered nonprofit with a global mission: to create inclusive, accepting, and supportive learning environments where all children can thrive.
Who It Serves

RBF operates on the principle that every child has unique potential, regardless of their neurodiversity or physical abilities. The organization is currently active in Pakistan and Kazakhstan, with plans for expansion into Singapore and Malaysia.
With a team spanning the USA, Pakistan, Nepal, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, and the UK, RBF functions on a voluntary basis while seeking funding to expand its reach. The Board of Advisors comprises professionals from education, technology, and scientific fields based in Pakistan, Canada, the UK, and Kazakhstan.
Mission: A World Where No Child Is Left Behind
RBF provides schools, teachers, and parents with tools, training, and resources to create truly inclusive learning environments. Beyond offering workshops, the organization aims to redefine education so that every child, regardless of ability, thrives in a nurturing and accepting setting.
The pilot program at Insight School in Kazakhstan has already demonstrated impact. RBF trains teachers in globally recognized intervention methods such as TEACCH and SCERTS, equipping them with practical strategies to support neurodiverse learners. By empowering educators, the organization ensures that students receive the support necessary for academic and social success.
Why It Matters
Globally, 1 in 38 children is neurodivergent, yet most education systems remain outdated and unable to meet their needs. As a result, millions of children struggle in learning environments that are not designed for them, while families face stigma, isolation, and a lack of resources.
Inclusive schools contribute to more inclusive societies. When teachers, parents, and communities are equipped with the right tools, children with diverse learning needs can reach their full potential, gain independence, and contribute meaningfully to society.
How to Support the Mission
Expanding the reach of inclusive education requires collaboration. Contributions help RBF scale training programs, develop essential resources, and ensure that schools worldwide can provide supportive learning environments.
- Training more teachers to support neurodiverse students
- Developing accessible resources for parents and schools
- Raising awareness and providing guidance for families navigating neurodiversity
- Expanding globally—so no child is left behind
Donate now to support inclusive education, individuals and organizations. It can help create a world where every child has access to the opportunities they deserve.
