Crossroads started off with familiar yet catchy cutting-edge Turkish vibes, but the pace felt a bit slow at first. As we mentioned earlier, we were eager to explore Haya’s world more and not just focus on Burak. We craved seeing more of both characters together rather than predominantly Burak. We wanted the story to progress faster and offer more new content instead of replaying scenes. And here’s what we got!
The Story Moved Forward And Took Some Dramatic Turns In Crossroads!
The story moved ahead from a predominantly Burak-centric narrative and now it’s more about both Haya and Burak, an interaction fans were craving! But hold on, the romance remains to be reignited!
After the fifth episode, the plot thickens. Burak visits Haya’s office for a project, but here’s the dramatic twist: Haya’s not there! Their paths still haven’t crossed. Those 75 seconds, though, packed a punch. Burak’s firm is working with Haya’s company where she’s working under Zaden.
Zaden, the boss, tells Reem and Faria about Burak’s visit, and they go absolutely gaga. We already saw it coming, but the prank call and them asking Zaden to fire Haya were unexpected in Crossroads? A stereo-typical Pakistani drama twist played out in full force: two girls falling for the same guy and trying to oust the third, who isn’t even interested. But hey, it happened!
Zaden calls Haya the backbone of the company in front of Burak. Burak’s taunt about her absence being the reason was hilarious. It sounded more Desi, but we loved it because we were anticipating that Haya and Burak showdown!
Soon the moment fans waited for arrived. Zaden calls Haya to the office immediately, and she shows up. It was all well-timed and exactly what those rooting for cute love encounters were waiting for! Everything about their first meet shouted drama, and electric vibes, and you know what, this is a show where predictability is a high!
Haya’s Arrival At The Office Gave Us ‘Tujhe Dekha Tou Ye Jana Sanam’ Vibes!
Similar to what caught our attention in the first episode was Burak’s grand entrance. This time, it was Haya’s arrival at the office that stole the show. Haya’s tresses flowing in the breeze, the catchy background score (not Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jaana Sanam, we know it’s dramatic) but the Crossroads soundtrack perfectly complemented her overall appearance. The Turkish feel went up a notch with finally, Haya’s entrance to the storyline. It threw us back to the past, but not to a breakup or heartbreak. Instead, it took us to Haya and Burak’s first meeting. Or was it their first crossroad?
