An episode that jolted our emotions. We have to admit with guilt & applause for Danish Nawaz for his execution of the interaction between Mahir & Nermeen in such a way that somehow made us sympathize with them & not judge them. Scroll down to find FUCHSIA’s review of Dobara.

Why Do We Feel For Mahir & Nermeen?
Are Mahir and Nermeen looking for closure or are they fooling themselves under the pretense of an old friendship?
Usually, when we see a husband cheating on a wife in a drama or even an indication of the same, we instantly call out the relationship. Here is where Dobara has surprised us, playing with our emotions in such a way that we do not judge Mahir and Nermeen meeting each other. In fact, we find ourselves being sucked into their relationship dynamics. We know Mahir should not be doing this but we’re not angry at him, instead, we feel the sadness inside him.
Has Mehroo Made A Place In Mahir’s Heart?
The episode was emotionally heavy and intense with so many unfortunate realities thrown at us. We wonder, was it Mehroo’s absence for the night that made it easy for Mahir to move towards Nermeen? Could Mehroo’s presence at that minute have stopped Mahir from moving in her direction?
Mahir’s frustration at not finding Mehroo was endearing, our heart went out to him, that maybe, he did need Mehroo at that time, if only to wrap her healing hands around his wounds. Have we been underestimating Mehroo’s presence in Mahir’s life? Or was it bound to happen eventually?
Kudos To The Drama Makers
Danish Nawaz and Sarwat Nazir deserve appreciation for making our hearts go through an emotional roller coaster. The scene where Mahir calls Nermeen, makes you think “oh it has started”, and brings tears to our eyes at the tragic turn of events, and then us, screaming inside our heads, “no Mahir please don’t”. But then, we get to watch in flashback, that Mahir had only apologized and they had not really talked all night long, making us sigh with relief and giving us hope for a short while.
We wish that scene where Mahir looks at the sleeping Mehroo had not been shown. It made Mehroo feel like an object that he was checking out. How did you feel about that scene?
Dobara has struggled to show a hint of a connection or chemistry between Mehroo and Mahir, so we wonder what will bring Mahir back to Mehroo eventually? Does Mehroo even have a fair chance of a fight in such a change of events, to claim her place in Mahir’s heart? Has the script been unfair to Mehroo?
