Hamza & Sehar & their shenanigans are back on our screens. Get the highlight of the 1st episode of Fairy Tale 2!

Audiences’ beloved Hamza and Sehar are back on screens on HUM TV and its apt to say fans are ecstatic! The first episode was a mega watch and ensured Hamza and Sehar’s chemistry remains unparalleled in season 2. Fans expect Fairytale 2 won’t likely disappoint and shall deliver well on the cutesy, rom-com meter.
The Indian drama parody scene was a twist no one expected and was able to induce fits of laughter as per audiences. The cast nailed the scene with their expressions so much so that even fans from across the border are in agreement! Rather than taking offence, Indian fans too were unable to control their laughter echoing similar sentiments as their neighbours.
Audiences were quick to understand the references yet we wonder if the toxic saas angle being thrown into the mix was necessary.
We expect and hope for more focus in terms of Umeed’s antics. Her office shenanigans while leaving us in splits, also had us wondering, in which world would that be realistic but then again, the drama is titled “Fairy Tale” after all.
Twitter Enjoyed The Indian Soap Parody
not the yrkkh bgm, also, why was i so invested in prem & preet’s story?! literally have no idea how they all shot this so seriously! this was hamza’s moment, in my opinion. the body language, teary eyes, shaking hands, gentle voice — he got it all down so well!
I’m just here to say hamza and sehar would have killed it in an itv show. preet walking past prem in the frame and them clasping the hands together. bhai detail toh dekhe
Cute Romance Between Farjad & Umeed
I’m a sucker for reverence, that look of admiration and just being gentle. Farjaad being absolutely calm and silent in his movements tugged at my heart to the point that I haven’t been able to move on.
there’s so much to unpack in a 16 second clip. -farjaad being so ridiculously gentle with her. – farjaad’s voice and body language shifting from slight admonishment to concern is done so well by hamza! – sehar has the most expressive face!!
Sehar Khan Nails Her Role As Umeed Pasha
She has literally acted out this entire scene with just her face & eyes so far. She’s really the queen of micro expressions. WHAT A FLAWLESS ACTRESS YOU ARE.
UMEED PASHA my forever favourite drama queen.
I cant get that “Umeed tum office main screechain maar rahi ho tumhe koi kaam nahi??” out of my head
Farjad Being The Ideal Fiancé
Highlight of the episode for me has to be how soft and gentle Farjad is with Umeed, how delicately he touches her. even when she’s going off on Mehak or arrives too early at the office, he simply plays along and doesn’t rain on her parade. now THAT’S love idc.
Farjaad’s face while watching umeed leave. the affection, the tenderness and his little “god i love her” moment. he’s so amused by her. he’s so in love with her.
Which scene did you enjoy the most? Do you think Umeed should tone down her antics a notch or she’s the top character bringing in all the fun? Are you waiting for A K. Khan too? Let us know below!
Now that’s better
We all are wondering where Ak is
Umeed is fûn the way she is and I think in further episodes she will delicately balance maturity and her energy. We miss Umeed doing her favourite action with the fingers but on the other hand it is a sign that she is more calm. We all love pasha sabs change and how chachu brings out cuteness. Umeed and farjad are the perfect couples with there’s imperfections. The drama is more promising and engaging than season 1. We still hope for sameer and Haya to move on but honestly loved it.
Farjad is the perfect hero we could ask for. He doesn’t mind any of Umeed’s energy and love her the way she is. The best moment was when he saw her in his office too early and fulfilling her sleep. The way farjad puts the coat on her and the way he looks at her is soo cute. Hamza’ expressions are right there in each scene. The way he didn’t the Indian soap scene, it was remarkable. Loved it. It was very innovative. Shout out to the cast and the director Ali Hassan as well as the writer Sarah Majeed. They really thought out of the box and the way it was executed by the actors. I am impressed.
