ARY has released an impactful trailer of an upcoming telefilm Hangor based on the true events of the 1971 Indo-Pak war and it will surely give you goosebumps. It is a historic drama with a star-studded cast – a perfect combination to awaken the patriot inside you!

Initial Thoughts On The Trailer

The trailer looks promising, from top-notch cinematography to great visuals, it has captured our attention. The star-studded cast includes Zahid Ahmed, Saba Qamar, Javed Sheikh, Shahzad Sheikh, Affan Waheen, and Dur-e-Fishan.
9th December is celebrated as Hangor day. The telefilm pays homage to our soldiers in white, especially commander Ahmed Tasnim. Under his command, PNS Hangor (Pakistani submarine) sank the Indian Navy’s INS Khukri (Indian frigate) in 1971. The visuals were so beautifully crafted that we could feel the anxiety and rush of emotions that Commander Tasnim must have experienced during that time.
Zahid Ahmed’s acting prowess has impressed us once again. As Commander Tasnim, he made us swoon over his graceful portrayal of our beloved war hero. Javed Shiekh delivered expressions with such finesse on screen. We also caught a glimpse of Saba Qamar in period attire fitting to the 70’s – A time period the movie was set in.
Shahzad Sheikh is cutting a smart look – the uniform-clad officer with hand raised in salute is giving major feels.
There is no reason not to look forward to an action-packed adventure in December as Hangor 1971 screens to Pakistani audiences.

The Telefilm is written by Saji Gul and directed by Saqib Khan under the umbrella of IDREAM Entertainment.
“Pakistan aman chahta hai, dushman kabhi is’say hamari kamzoori na samjhay.” – A line that overwhelmed us & will definitely resonate with every Pakistani who watches the telefilm.
