Produced by Wijdaan Films, directed by Jalal Roomi, and written by Kamran Bari, Kahay Dil Jidhar is an upcoming film that will release on 17th December. The film stares the singer-turned-actor Junaid Khan and Laal Kabootar’s star Mansha Pasha as leads. It also stars Kamran Bari, Roma Michael, Dino Ali, Atiqa Odho, and Sajid Hassan.

About The Story
It is a story about friendship, relationships, bonds that are vulnerable to the passing of time, and issues that reside on the surface, yet no one is willing to talk about. The film will talk about the problem of rising drug abuse in Pakistan and how it is affecting millions of people nowadays and also the family and friends of the abusers.
Essentially, it is a story about four college friends who turn into professional rivals in the future.
Mansha Pasha will be seen playing the role of a shrewd and honest journalist. Her dialogue in the film, “Muawza tu hamein khabar na chapni ka milta hai“, highlights the real issues in the field of journalism and we are expecting her to take a stand against the evils of society. Needless, to say she looks stunning!
We also caught a glimpse of Atiqa Odho donning her Amry uniform. Even though she only came on screen for a few seconds, it was enough for her powerful expressions and teary eyes to reach us through the screen and make us feel what she was feeling!

On the other hand, Junaid Khan plays the role of a police officer. His character has grey shades and it is hard to decipher which side he stands on. By the looks of it, they both will be sharing a college romance and later will stand against each other in the professional field.

Junaid Khan has talked about the film in the following words:
“Drug abuse is a prevalent issue among the youth and it was an important topic to be touched. However, Kahay Dil Kidhar is an entertainer. There is dance, there is music, there is action and there is everything. It is basically a fun package that I couldn’t say no to.”
Junaid Khan (Something Haute)
Kahay Dil Jidhar’s ensemble cast includes Junaid Khan, Mansha Pasha, Atiqa Odho, Roma Michael, Sajid Hassan, and Kamran Bari. The movie is all set to hit our screens on 17th December. It is penned by Kamran Bari, directed by Jalal Roomi & produced by Wijdaan Films.
It is uplifting to see that Pakistani cinema is tackling real issues. Pakistani content often suffers from a lack of strength in the narrative. However, that is changing because Pakistani filmmakers and writers today are picking topics that resonate with the youth which is extremely refreshing to see.
