An Ode To Mehreen!
That last scene with Mashal aptly portrayed Mehreen’s frame of mind. She is pretending to be ‘dheet’ but events are taking a toll on her. Mahira Khan’s portrayal of Mehreen’s anxiety after she emerged from the laundry room was palpable & so heartfelt. Her conversation with her father melted our hearts. It is commendable how his intense longing is felt in Mehreen’s life even though he’s no longer there.
Why can’t Rabia keep her troubled thoughts to herself in front of Mehreen? We’re hoping we get to find out in the next episode!
