Does love justify extreme overprotectiveness or suffocation of another person? Hurmat touches a very sensitive nerve in society: the relationship between parents and children.

What caught our attention was the new twist in the drama: Hurmat is certain about marrying Tabish. She wanted someone stronger and stable, but Tabish comes with the burden of his childhood trauma. That has made her question whether she should jump into another risky situation knowingly, after spending all her life in the cage of her father’s insecurities.
Sometimes a person suffering from trauma needs a stable person in their life, and being with another person who has trauma can be damaging.
The drama addresses mental health in children, especially boys. When we expect boys to suppress their emotions and behave in a certain way, we do not realize how damaging it can be for their mental health. It also turns them into a version of themselves that is not true to them. That is what was happening with Tabish. Although his mother took timely action to control the damage somewhat, Tabish has still been scarred. He is scared of marriage and does not want to have children.
The drama also highlights a big issue in society: overprotecting your children, especially girls. Even though Hurmat’s father meant well, he damaged her in many ways. He has also created a rebellious streak in Hurmat, and now she will risk anything to live her life the way she wants.
