Indian cricketer, Harbhajan Singh dismisses cricket fan’s wish to see Pakistani players playing in IPL. Check out what he said and decide for yourself…

Harbhajan Singh, fondly known as “Bhajji” or the “Turbanator,” in his home country, is a renowned Indian cricketer who has left an expansive mark on the cricketing world. Born on July 3, 1980, in Punjab, India, Harbhajan made his debut for the Indian cricket team in 1998, showcasing his exceptional off-spin bowling skills. Throughout his illustrious career, he has been a key player in many memorable victories for India, including the historic series win against Australia in 2001.
He has been known for his ability to spin the ball sharply and his knack for taking crucial wickets which earned him immense respect in the cricketing world. More than that, he seems to have had a penchant for being blunt, saying what he thinks and saying it straight away without much care for the response it will receive.
In the past, Harbhajan Singh has often faced criticism from Pakistani cricket fans for his occasional crude and sarcastic remarks. It seems like he dedicated a recent Twitter session to this topic, leaving cricket fans, particularly those from Pakistan, feeling somewhat offended.
Harbhajan Singh’s Dismisses Fan’s Wish In A Salty Manner
One fan expressed their wish to see players like Babar Azam alongside Virat Kohli in the IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mohammad Rizwan with MS Dhoni in the Chennai Super Kings, and Shaheen Afridi playing alongside Jasprit Bumrah in the Mumbai Indians. Just like art, sports too has the power to transcend boundaries, as evident in many international premier leagues like the IPL and PSL. It’s not unreasonable to wish for Indian and Pakistani players to showcase not only their age-old rivalry but also for a (much-needed) change, their unity and team spirit by playing alongside each other.
However, Harbhajan Singh, also known as Bhajji, doesn’t seem to be in the mood for such sentiments. In a rather salty and dismissive manner, he reposted the fan’s image with the words: “No Indian has such dreams… you guys please stop dreaming” followed by a couple of laughing emojis. He didn’t hold back, and while some Indian fans are proud of him for supposedly giving Pakistani fans a ‘reality check’, others are disappointed, sharing how they shudder to think these people were their childhood heroes.
