News alert: Habs also falls prey to the ‘deadly virus of Ridiculous Twists Syndrome’ that a majority of Pakistani dramas suffer from when they are nearing the end.

What Happens In The ‘Ridiculous Twists Syndrome’?
If you are unsure of what happens in the ‘Ridiculous Twists Syndrome’, let us give you some examples.
Is talking to Ayesha about an apartment more important than divorce papers or figuring out what she wants?
Why would Basit set aside an apartment in Ayesha’s name when he has the entire house? Yeh ghar kis ko jaaye ga bhai?
It is just sad and confusing that a team that has produced a very good script so far, could not come up with a better plot twist, and more logical and relevant events to move the story forward or to create conflict between the lead characters.
Onto The Positives
The first episode of the double episodes was cute and really heart winning with adorable moments between Basit and Ayesha – Basit trying to get her attention, making excuses to be near her and then attempting to start a conversation with her.
It also showed his layered character as he fought to not doubt her at one point when she smiled & messaged someone on her phone. Basit and Ayesha represented two people who were trying to figure out their relationship and what love means to them. The drama also shed light on a critical point – that how lack of communication can lead to misunderstandings between two people. But then the multiple visits with unaddressed issues still hanging in the air, and the apartment offer emerging out of literally nowhere, completely ruined the earlier events.
Zoya seems to be on an agenda to ruin her marriage eventually. We wonder how long her husband will put up with her rude and condescending behaviour and just decide to call it off at some point. She is also a reflection of her mother – selfish and materialistic. She is not worried about Ayesha but her own issue not being resolved.
Bano seems to be the voice of reason for Ayesha… we wish if maybe she could put some sense into Basit as well.
The mother approaching Yawer’s sister and proposing to marry him with Ayesha instead of Zoya was also a bit extreme and seemed like a sort of trade – Product A is not available, so why don’t you take product B?
