Fear For Iqbal’s Fate
After knowing Shaukat’s fate, we feared for Iqbal, making us pray and wish desperately that maybe, hopefully, ASP Arsalan will somehow arrive in time to save him. Will Iqbal also become prey to Meeral’s deadly plans? Our heart beat quickened, and with a lot of anxiety and stress, we watched the killer dog chasing Iqbal in the desert. The episode ended on a cliff hanger, making us curious as to what happens next?
The Power Of One!
“Mein sarkar ka nauker hoon aur sirf ek sipahi”. The drama just reminded all those actively employed in the police force about what their uniform really means, and their duty and Farz as a police officer – to not fear anyone, and to never give in to any kind of pressure.
It is notable how the courage of one man can lend courage to so many more. The police force can finally feel worthy and confident that they are not giving in to pressure, influence and the law of the land! Spirits are high for the battle ahead, thanks to ASP Arsalan’s brave attitude and unrelenting determination to better the lawlessness that has taken over Jhok Sial.
That salute led by Kundan Masih was heart-warming. Again, the drama led by example, showing how one conscientious, and brave-hearted officer can make a difference in morale. Will we see a tragic end to Kundan Masih’s character? Is that why the scene was executed in such a way, to make us feel for him? So that we cry for him later?
Love Story In the Making
ASP Arsalan and Sassi. What a beautiful, honest and simple exchange between the two. We are so glad the drama keeps the sanctity of ASP Arsalan’s character and his position. He never steps out of line when he is on duty. Here again he merely inquires (and yet quite romantically, if we may say so): “was it only the kids who missed me?” and then he moves on after getting his answer.
Despite giving us a full action thriller, the makers haven’t missed adding in a subtle romantic element to the story which just elevates the story to a more human level. Attention to detail can be applauded as the drama explains that Iqbal had shifted to a new house, hence it was a different place from the one shown in initial episodes where we had seen Iqbal and Shaukat. This was better than just showing him living in a new house without any backstory to support the move.
