It was scary to see Meeral plan Jeevan’s disappearance through human trafficking and arranging his sister Sassi to shift in the quarters behind the Haweli so she is within access. Peeral is scared of Noori’s wrath and fears her rebellion upon discovering the truth about Shaukat’s murder.
Not Your Regular Feudal Story
Refreshing to see that Jhok Sarkar is not your run-of-the-mill feudal system saga. Deep dialogues, engaging story lines, concrete issues like human trafficking and focusing on the dynamics of challenges within the police department makes it all worth a watch.
While we thought that the drama would probably be about ASP Arsalan sorting out the lives of the inhabitants and corrupt feudal system in Jhok Sial, the drama introduces the issue of human trafficking across the border which definitely made the story more interesting to watch.
Although the entire nocturnal raid could have been shot and executed in a better manner, (it seemed compromised), better planning could have added more impact to the overall events.
Suspense Included
Jhok Sarkar kept us wondering what happened to Jeevan. Was he shot by ASP Arsalan? We appreciate the makers not revealing too much even in the promo. The encounter between Meeral and ASP Arsalan gives us that perfect hero vs villain moment that uplifts the watching experience.
It is so interesting to see that Peeral despite being so powerful, is kind of scared deep down, of encountering Noori’s wrath. Because he knows she is fearless and has nothing to lose, she is not scared of death so if she finds out about Shaukat, she will not only leave him but also create havoc in their lives – such a captivating portrayal of characters.
Sharp Hero Feels!
It adds to the experience of watching this drama when our hero is shown to be intelligent and clever – only sharing the plan of the attack with those he trusts. Usually, we see the villains succeed in their scheming, which was not the case here. So good to see some logical storytelling and a balanced battle between the good guys and bad guys.
The school is being reopened and we are ready for the Sassi and Arsalan meetup!
