Kuch Ankahi First Look Dropped and Bilal Sajal fans finally caught a glimpse of the family drama that is promising to take over our TV screens this January 2023!
The drama Kuch Ankahi is purported to be a social comedy with a message- a project of Ary Digital. It is written by Mohammed Ahmed, directed by Nadeem Baig and co-produced by Kashf Foundation and Six Sigma Plus.
The Family Portrait
The family portrait is perhaps the simplest and most complicated family event. Thus, its memorable in its chaotic last-minute unpreparedness. Yet it is just this lack of anything contrived, this unplanned, unprepared gem of a moment, that makes it so very sublime, nostalgic, & utterly precious.
Anyone & all of us who have been a part of this experience knows the exercise to be one that never pulls together without a monumental tug, coordination, and synchrony. Someone blinks, someone’s eyes turn red, and someone is not looking in the right direction. If anything, it is a memory, stamped into our memories of trying hard to pose together. Moreover, attempt to capture that one elusive moment when we get together as a family and get it right!
Fitting Tribute
Thus, it is heartening that the makers chose to use this family photograph as an announcement to a drama that is a rightful tribute to the one writer who personified family in all her narratives – Haseena Moin. Simply Splendid, short & sweet is perhaps how we describe the first look of Kuch Ankahi.
The drama stars Bilal Abbas Khan, Sajal Aly, Mohammed Ahmed, Irsa Ghazal, Mira Sethi, Adnan Samad, Babar Ali, Vaneeza Ahmed and Qudsia Ali.
