Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa dazzled on the red carpet and complimented each other! Mahira wore a white gown with light makeup and looked flawless with her hair down, while Fahad was spotted wearing a buttoned black shirt with a pair of sunglasses.

Fahad made honest revelations while he was on the red carpet and revealed why we don’t see him on the small screen anymore:

“If my movie becomes a hit, people won’t see me on the small screen and if it does they will continue to see me in the same capacity as they already do so. The thing is that when you see people clapping for you and get immediate reaction from the audience, you don’t want to go back. I don’t intend to degrade the small screen. There are many good actors on the small screen who deserve a chance on the big screen.”
Fahad wants to make more movies in the capacity of a producer and wants other actors to get more opportunities!

“Pray that we can have 4 movies every year. There are a lot of actors who deserve to be on big screen. I just wish I can make 4-5 movies and I know I can’t be in all of them.”
He also expressed that working with Mahira felt ‘interesting’. He has a theory that genuine stars are very normal and he thinks Mahira Khan is ‘normal’ and a ‘sane person’.
“Mahira and I couldn’t work together before sometimes she would say no to a project and sometimes I would. But I think eventually we had to do this one together and I feel Quaid e Azam Zindabad is the biggest film of my career. I think Mahira and I look together.” He also added, “I thank Mahira for working with me. From working with Shahrukh Khan and then with me, I feel sad for her because of this.”

Mahira States She’s Willing To Do A Small Role In A Good Film
Mahira was also very supportive of Fahad. She talked about how he did his own stunts in the movie. She also revealed that she is willing to do a small role in a good movie.
“I have always been proud that I carry my films but now for me the new phrase is that everyone carries the film. I would do a small role in a good film because I think story is important. I am happy to be Jennifer Connelly to my Tom Cruise. “

“Just the way Shahrukh Khan is able to learn his dance steps quickly and perform really well without much practice so can Fahad Mustafa.”

At The Press Conference
Alongside Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa, the producer-director duo, Fizza Ali and Nabeel Qureshi were also present at the conference and answered questions from the press. Jawed Sheikh who is playing the role of a Sindhi constable was also spotted.
The producer, Fizza Ali was very enthusiastic about the plot of the film and had this to say:

“Corruption is spreading like cancer and I feel like we are in the third stage. It is high time we talk about it. We have tried to give the message in a lighter tone such that people try to reflect how they are also somewhere involved in such activities and if we want we can try to deter them from it.”
Humayun Saeed And Nadeem Baig Were Also Spotted!
Humayun Saeed and Nadeem Baig also attended the trailer launch of Quaid e Azam Zindabad to support their colleagues.
Nadeem Baig said that he doesn’t believe in damaging or discouraging reviews and accepts gracefully what the critics write. He also doesn’t believe in forcing his audience. While Humayun added that the audience has certainly evolved over the years and they have tried to do things differently in this movie as compared to ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ whether that is in terms of the lighting or the way that the story is told.
“Businesses have been affected after Covid and some cinemas have closed down so this Eid is very important to see if people will come out of their houses to watch the movies.”

The Thor Vs. Pakistani Movies Debate
Both Fahad Mustafa and Humayun Saeed were in favor of Thor being released and believe that they should focus on producing good movies instead.
“How many things will we stop. It would also be a setback if Thor isn’t released in our country. We should try to produce better movies and if the film is good people will watch it and Thor as well.”
