If you’re craving some lighthearted romance, Mannat Murad makes the perfect watch. It is also refreshing to see some variation and new ideas as part of the story. Mannat and Murad both pretend to dislike each other in front of their families so their over possessive families can agree to their rishta, falsely assuming that, “this is not what they really want.”

Comedy of Errors
The entire Azra scene when she visits Murad’s mother and sisters and when they think she is the one he’s fallen for, and that she is the mother of two children, was nicely executed. They are flabbergasted and scandalized to think that she is offering her own proposal. The scene made us smile at the comedy of errors without feeling unnecessarily dramatic or farfetched.
The food court scene was also well executed. We were hoping against hope that Murad’s mother will somehow come around, stop Mannat and her bhabi from leaving, and finally, the rishta can actually become a reality. The scene had us fully invested as we were also hoping against hope for a miraculous turnaround, especially as Mannat crossed them in the food court.
Murad’s victory dance and winning smile was definitely a heart winner and made us smile too. It is fun to see Mannat and Murad planning secretly to make their families agree to their marriage. Although their shenanigans are slightly exaggerated and dramatic but still fun to watch and give us many smile moments.
Positive Bonds
Mannat’s bhabi is pure love. Her support of Mannat is so endearing. The drama is establishing positive relations between bhabi and nand, especially when the nand has no parents as in the case of Mannat.
It is great to see actors like Uzma Hassan aka Sabiha taking on positive supporting roles and ones that add great value to the story line. Additionally, Rabya Kulsoom is doing a fab job as Azra. The support cast for any drama can make or break the viewing experience and hence, the attention to casting is helping add more gains to the project. Faisal, Itrat’s husband offering to help Shaukat was surprising and made us respect Faisal more. We wish Itrat would try to get her mother to respect him too and take a stand for him. We wonder how Shaukat will behave, now that he knows Nudrat cannot bear any more children and his hopes to have a son are finished.
