1. Sania Saeed in Raqeeb Se
You blew us away in this episode. When you cried with Sakina, we cried with you Hajra jee. Woh Maqsood Sahib ko defend kerna, Sakina ko munana, her adaa khoobsoorat hai aapki. Ypu might be the most layered character in the story, but you cover so many shades of grey, and stupendously, you’ve caught every shade! Well played there as Hajra, we can’t rave about you enough!
2. Faryal Mehmood as Insha
Her anger at Hajra for always undermining herself & her sympathy for Sakina. Faryal Mehmood gave a heartwarming performance. Yet we know she is soon going to demand the truth, she’s nearly stumbled upon it and that performance, we’re waiting for with bated breath – save the best for last, it seems, but you already have us Insha! Well done there!
3. Rabia Butt as Nargis in Pehli Si Mohabbat
Rabia jee, not only do you have the charms to make anyone smitten by your adaayein, but also the on-point acting skills, knowledge and face expressions jinse aap apni poori baat ker deti hain. You were definitely the queen this week! Character mein jaan isi ko kehte hain!
4. Bilal Abbas Khan As Haider in Dunk
Main poori bisaat hi palat doon ga. So many emotions in one episode, kabhi kashmakash kay Minaal ko sach batain ya nahin, kabhi pareshaani how to deal with Amal & kabhi Shatranj ka khilari with Amal. Bilal aced each & every scene. Your expressions already had us, and now your dialogues, laid on crisp and curt, add new dimensions to Haider’s stoic composure! Well played there, you’re back in the game!
5. Sheheryar Munawar in Pehli Si Mohabbat
When Aslam tells his mother why he saved Rakshi’s izzat before her father, what a standout performance. The noticeably slight change in expressions & posture made all the difference.
6. Saba Faisal in PSM & Raqeeb Se
Saba jee proves yet again that there is not a single role she can’t perform with perfection. From being the loud & dominating Jithhani in Raqeeb Se to the samajhdar, rukh rakhao wali Aslam aur Akram ki maan in Pehli Si Mohabbat, you are brilliant. You show us a stupendously vast range of performances and we are soaking in the characters – on point, every time!
7. Arsalan Faisal in Shehnai
Rafay jee kabhi gaa ker kabhi load shedding mein mohabbat ka izhar ker kay you are winning our hearts for sure. We are loving your natural performance. Keep it coming as we warm up to Shehnai! Hoping to see more wscapades from the onscreen pairing of Saima & Rafay in coming episodes!
8. Hiba Bukhari in Fitoor
Zanjbeel Asim’s powerful & thought provoking dialogues were delivered by Hiba as Dilnahseen with such conviction & intensity of performance that they immediately impacted the viewer. The swift change over from a love lost young girl to a confident wife to a helpless onlooker as her marriage is threatened – Hiba & Faysal’s onscreen chemistry is keeping us hooked to Fitoor!
