Sarwat Nazir’s Dastak is currently on-air, starring Sohai Ali Abro, Feroz Kadri, and Ali Raza, which is touching upon many topics, and that too with raw, real, and fearless depiction. But Sarwat Nazir has one more in store for the Pakistani drama world!
There comes another never-seen-before on-screen pairing – Mawra Hocane and Talha Chahour pair up for Sarwat Nazir’s next project titled Jama Taqseem. Talha, who took a break after Jannat Se Aagay, returned this Eid in a special telefilm opposite Sabeena Farooq. Mawra, meanwhile, is currently seen in Agar Tum Saath Ho, which has been receiving mixed reviews from viewers.
Jama Taqseem is set to air on HUM TV in a prime-time slot, and if you were one of the many who fell in love with Farjad and Umeed’s wedding in Fairytale 2 or swooned over Roshi and Talha’s beachside confession in Meem Se Mohabbat, you’re in for a treat. This new drama is being directed by none other than Ali Hassan – the creative mind behind Fairytale 1 & 2 and Meem Se Mohabbat.
Sarwat Nazir’s storytelling often carries subtle yet powerful messages that resonate deeply without ever feeling preachy or forced. Currently playing Dastak, we also saw Pardes, Yunhi and Dobara among others from the same pen. With a title like Jama Taqseem – which hints at division, sharing, or perhaps even justice and inheritance – one can expect a layered narrative. Fans are looking forward to this project, as the team seems incredibly promising!
