A lukewarm first episode of Meri Shehzadi that didn’t really engage audiences much but laid down the plot for the drama to take off.
Our favourite part of the drama was definitely watching Shameem Hilaly and Qavi Sahib as a couple; their conversations and their polar opposite response to everything that happened to Dania.
Dania is being raised by her Nana and Nani. Her father has remarried Dania’s Tai’s sister. The father is the brother of the Chief Minister and belongs to an established political family.
Dania jee you look beautiful but we wish while sleeping you had removed your makeup. Didn’t anyone tell you that sleeping with your makeup on can damage your skin?
Tai jaan portrayed by Atiqa Odho seems to be more than what she appears. We have a feeling her scheming and planning might be responsible for Dania’s mother’s death and also getting her younger sister married to Dania’s father.
The Nani doesn’t let a chance go by, of making Dania’s father realise his mistakes and Nana plays it diplomatically as he preaches to Dania to always be polite.
Dania believes mohabbat kay bagher zindagi nahin gazer suktee, paison kay bagher gazer suktee hai. She is beautiful & respectful, with a kind and sensitive heart, and is unconditionally loved and protected by her grandparents.
Dania’s taya’s son played by All Shaman, has just returned to Pakistan and seems to be the most eligible bachelor right now.
