Meri Zindagi Hai Tu navigates the next plot turn as Ayra weds Kamyar. But what next? Is the drama about to take on full revenge mode from Kamyar or, will Ayra surprise us and flip the script?

Did these 7 thoughts also go through your mind while watching MZHT?
Just when we finally started enjoying the cute moments and taking a sigh of relief that okay, no more questionable content, and we finally get the chance to enjoy Ayra and Kamyar’s interactions, MZHT says no way. And the story instantly throws a scene where we wonder – why oh why did you have to spoil our fun. The scene in question would be Kamyar taking Fariya in the car and driving like crazy!
Not just that, we don’t want to see or glamourise or romanticise a hero who has no control over his emotions. Who, instead of seeking therapy, puts his own life at risk. We are completely and totally “NOT Interested” in wasting our screen time on these kinds of scenes between Kamyar and Fariya.
Ayra’s cute responses and Kamyar’s ghussa
We are glad Ayra is not a submissive heroine. The exchanges between the two give you comic relief and make you smile – the hair dryer scene was one of the scenes that stood out.
Dadi playing carrom board with Ayra was endearing and nostalgic.
Fariya’s parents’ track: NOT INTERESTED
Just when finally, Kamyar and Ayra are married and we can witness some cute-romantic moments between them, why does the drama pick this moment to throw Fariya’s mother’s return at us? This is torture and unfair not just to the audience but also to the actors performing these roles and the drama itself.
Ayra’s father is, at the end of the day, a stereotypical conservative and controlling father. The way he speaks to his wife and wants her to silently obey him is very frustrating.
Passing thought: Kamyar’s mom’s cat gets more attention from her than Kamyar.
Thank Goodness Falak is one family member who is staying connected with Ayra.
Last but not the least, we request the drama creators, writers, and actors to please be more responsible and sensitive about certain concepts and words in the script. Kamyar mentioning the divorce of his mother’s friend’s daughter and using it as a taunt towards her was sad and disappointing. As a society, we continue to work hard to shift harmful perceptions of divorce—moving away from viewing it as something people should feel guilty or ashamed about, or as anyone’s fault. Such portrayals can significantly damage these efforts.
Final Thoughts
While the interactions between the Ayra and Kamyar are entertaining, bordering on the cute-romantic genre, one wonders if the drama creators are swaying between pitching the genre to audiences as one of the following? Is Meri Zindagi Hai Tu a drama with social messages, a romantic comedy, a suspense, psychological thriller, or a story targeting mental health? Should Ayra be seeking therapy instead of walking into a relationship with obvious red flags, and a moment to pause and think – would a guy like Kamyar who torched an entire car and also beat up the heroine’s brother, so much so that he ended up in the hospital, not react when Ayra throws a glass of water at him? Kamyar´s mental health has been under the spotlight repeatedly, at several points in the storytelling, hence if the same character is capable of burning an entire automobile, would Ayra or any girl be safe if she threw a glass of water at him? What triggers Kamyar and when does he shift to becoming a comic hero, willing to let Ayra take the lead? A lot about the character seems to be confounding audiences. Perhaps some consistency in behaviour would help viewers understand his reactions better.
