Zoobia Lagging In Communication?
We wish Zoobia had explained to Saim, exactly what had happened. Because from Saim’s point of view, she was talking to another person. Along with Saim, we are also confused why such a silly misunderstanding actually happened. But a conversation between them where she admits she should have been more responsible and wise would have been a great move.
More than his rejection, it was the fact that Saim thought she was a characterless girl is what bothered her more.
What Stood Out
Such beautiful scenes of Taya and Father talking to Zoobia, being concerned about her and giving her the assurance that we are here to listen to you. A note of appreciation for showing that.
It is so refreshing to experience a young love story with errors of youth and judgement causing unnecessary yet real heartbreak. Saim trying to make up to Zoobia in multiple ways was so very endearing and many young couples must have connected to it.
Saim’s mother’s harsh words will probably stop Zoobia from approaching Saim. Instead of handling the issue wisely, she has probably worsened the matter, as well as losing her own respect.
Red Flag or justified behaviour?
Zoobia is stuck in a real dilemma, that many other girls must have related to for sure. Was Saim’s previous behaviour a need to note that he is a red flag or needlessly suspicious, or, was it justified because after all, he did see evidence that seemed believable. But on the other hand, using strong phrases like ‘kill’ and if she dies, he doesn’t care are for sure, cause for alarm. Where would you stand if you were Zoobia and had to decide if Saim deserves a second chance?
Is Zoobia justified in not forgiving Saim right now? Or is it unreasonable of her to expect him to trust her blindly despite all the proof he received.
