Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha – Oh Neelo, slow down… you seem to have a single-minded agenda against Maheer without even giving her a chance to explain. Maheer you need to stop blaming others, and start taking responsibility for your own not so intelligent decisions. Saad, well we are glad you are out of jail.
Million Dollar Question
So the million-dollar question: why didn’t Maheer visit the police station to check on Saad? Especially since she was so hasty at making it to the hospital for Areeb? It seems the family was busy doing everything BUT trying to get a lawyer on board to free Saad, or trying to find some contact to get him bail, or trying to find some bystanders to tell the police (and understand themselves too), of exactly what happened at the place and time of attack.
Maheer’s Ability To Do Nothing!
Was Maheer’s trip to the hospital wasted? Areeb was unconscious and couldn’t even hear what she had to say. She lost all her points with us when she left without taking any action as Faha accused Saad of attacking Areeb and admitting she was responsible for the police report. Should she not have visited the police station to tell her side of the story?
Neelo’s Passionate Outbursts
Neelo’s passion for her brother and her rage against Maheer is losing all logic and testing our patience. We understand she’s upset and we want her to be with her brother, but when she goes on an unstoppable anti-Maheer rant and often, doesn’t make any sense in her accusations, her impact is lost. If Neelo was not enough, Maheer’s mother joins in the blame game and is now lashing back with zero restraint. These two characters have lost any shade of grey we hoped from them.
The Toxic Female Narrative
To top it all, Faha’s negativity is unfounded, especially since Areeb is least interested in her. Showing a female character chasing after a wealthy young boy who shows little or no interest in her, and then turning toxic against another female has become a cliched narrative in Pakistani dramas. It needs to stop!
