An evile dada in pursuit, a possible career in social media and suspense mark this week’s Nauroz episode, read on for the full review.

Reshtina is finally finding her bearings around the world. But her dada is close on her heels now, making us fear for her safety. Hira Khan, the Tik Toker’s story though raw, yet endearing, needed better execution, but still managed to capture our attention. The narrative, in a captivating manner, is now fully approaching Reshtina’s gradual affiliation to the social media world.
The secret is in the details
It was fun to watch Reshtina learning to use the camera, then actually becoming of use to Hira. Attention to detail like her tripping and falling when she tries to do it the first time, then gradually getting better at it, made Nauroz more interesting and relatable to watch.
We are so glad that Hira decided to cross-check Reshtina’s story which resulted in her getting her things back, especially her documents. Love is in the air? Hira’s friend though, seems to have fallen for Reshtina.
What could have been better
Hira’s journey, marking her entry into the social media world, maps the journey of many female influencers, the possible reactions from their families, and how such people learn to improve and evolve over time. But we wish the execution had been better. It seemed compromised, and that affected the level of interest one would take in that storyline, as well as the visual experience. We understand it was meant to capture her transition over time, but it could have been shot in a way that would make us feel for her, which it didn’t.
We hope Ahsan’s daughter in-law will warn Reshtina and save her from being discovered by her evil Dada at this point in time.
