Enough with the rumors – we’re done lending an ear to “maybe this, maybe that.” When it comes to Pakistani dramas, fake news isn’t just misleading… it comes with a side of heartbreak!

So yeah, the rumors had been flying left, right, and center about these two dramas. Everyone was talking, guessing, overthinking – typical drama fan behavior. We were out here crossing fingers, toes, and even WiFi signals hoping for some solid news. And guess what? It finally dropped! ARY Digital, in their latest Buzz talk show, came through and confirmed not one, but TWO upcoming dramas that just might be the biggest blockbusters of the year!
And listen, don’t waste your time Googling for cast lists or behind-the-scenes tea – we’ve got it all right here. Writer? Check. Director? Check. Star-studded cast? Double check. Just keep scrolling, maybe grab a cup of chai, and let us spill all the drama on the dramas. You’re welcome (in advance).
1. Meri Zindagi Hai Tu

Meri Zindagi Hai Tu is bringing together a fan-favorite pairing we didn’t know we needed (but absolutely do): Hania Aamir and Bilal Abbas Khan. With that much charm, strong screen presence, and talent packed into one frame, we already know this one’s going to have us glued. The script is in the hands of Radain Shah, who’s given us hits like Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi, Aakhir Kab Tak, DuniyaPur, and Khudparast, so you already know the drama will come with layers (and probably some screaming-at-your-TV moments). And steering the ship is Musaddiq Malek, fresh off the buzz around Noor Jahan, which gave us strong direction, striking visuals, and a fresh take on storytelling.
Backed by Six Sigma Plus and airing on ARY Digital, this one has all the ingredients of a primetime obsession. Between the star power and solid storytelling team, Meri Zindagi Hai Tu might just be that one drama everyone ends up binge-watching, tweeting about, and emotionally recovering from. Keep your snacks (and tissues) ready!
2. Biryani

We know – Biryani already gives off a hint of Kabli Pulao nostalgia. But that’s just Zafar Mairaj’s signature. From Dumpukht to Kabli Pulao, and now Biryani, his writing has consistently delivered stories that are rooted, layered, and quietly powerful. This time, he’s joined by director Badar Mehmood, fresh off the massive success of 2024’s biggest hit, Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. It’s 2025 now, and the expectations are naturally high – but with this team, it feels more like a sure shot than a risk.
The cast brings its own strength: Ramsha Khan and Khushhal Khan, whose on-screen chemistry has already struck a chord with audiences in DuniyaPur, return as a pairing to look out for. And perhaps the most exciting surprise – Sarwat Gilani makes her television comeback after seven years, adding both weight and nostalgia to the project. Produced by Big Bang Entertainment and airing on ARY Digital, Biryani promises to be a thoughtful, emotional drama that’ll blends classic storytelling with fresh energy.
So… which one are you clearing your watchlist for?
