It might be called Noor Jahan, but actually, Noor Bano seems to be nailing her game.

The drama made a major reveal – who shot Noor Bano? And we are so thankful that the promo did it’s part by not doing its part, i.e. keeping it a secret. Noor Bano is definitely several steps ahead of the game on every front and here’s why.
1. She Planned The Entire Fiasco With Hunaid
Hunaid was played and he didn’t know it. So focused was Noor Jahan in taking revenge on her father’s behalf that she was ready to risk taking a bullet, and she did. The ploy not only won her Murad’s support but also placed Hunaid on the defensive.
2. She Played Innocent Before Safeena
It is essential to point out that Noor Bano, despite being the ruthless mastermind behind Noor Jahan’s fall, does not want to hurt those who are innocent, and that includes Safeena and her baby daughter Insiya. Hence, she pretended ignorance yet let Hunaid know that he was imprisoned to pay for Mukhtar Shah’s death, and not shooting at Noor Bano.
3. She Upholds Women Above All Else
When Noor Bano let Hunaid go, she reminded him, that it was because of his daughter Insiya, making him indebted to Insiya for life. And also, in turn, upholding the precious bond fathers and daughters share, simultaneously driving home the guilt factor that Hunaid was instrumental in tearing her (Noor Bano) away from her father, and knowing how painful that is, but she wouldn’t do that to another daughter, Hunaid’s daughter. What better way to make him realize his wrong doing earlier and also, how appreciate his freedom, that too, because of Noor Bano’s generosity.
Like we said, our heroine is winning on all fronts!
4. Sumbul’s Story
It’s great to see women supporting women. And while Sumbul’s story is too good to be true, let’s just this one time, believe in fairytales. Why not? Noor Bano facilitated Sumbul in picking up her life, giving her self esteem, a job, courage to walk away from a painful marriage and now, a chance at love again. Here’s a heroine who might be on the path of revenge but knows how to retain her positivity and in the course of it all, not allow humanity to die inside her.
5. Murad & Noor Bano’s Future – To Be Or Not To Be?
While Noor Bano is aware that Murad was very much a part of the attack on her father, she seems to be very much in love with him. How will she reconcile her feelings for him as well as stay true to her father?
This one is hard to predict and the writer will have to navigate it right. It has to be said that despite the fact that Murad was very much under Noor Jahan’s control at the time, he was very much a part of the attack squad that went at Mukhtar Shah – Noor Bano’s father. Will she be able to forgive him and move on?
A Note On A Second Chance At Love
It was great to see Kumail and Sumbul address the conversation many women walk through in their minds when considering a second chance at love. Sumbul’s fears were expressed in a sensitive, relatable way; from worrying about society’s take on divorcees to letting your heart trust in a new relationship, to the fear of being hurt once more.
Kumail’s responses, both genuine and sensitive served major goals for men to not judge a woman who’s already been through a great deal and also, reassure her without handing out fantastic claims of a happily ever after.
A relationship is a journey, and one step at the time, love, trust and working at it when both people come from a place of honesty is perhaps the best place to begin.
