Malika – How do you even get up in the morning when you know the person you love dearly is dying? And not just that, you also face the daunting task of raising your daughter alone, with no life skills.

A small detail, but again “Who will take this car inside?” Only if Malika knew how to drive.
Raza’s dialogue: “Meri beti ka khayal rakhna, betiyan baap kay baad bohat hasaas ho jati hain.”
Who would know this better than Malika, who also lost her father when she was young.
We wish Raza had shown the same sensitivity toward Malika when he had the chance.
We have one question for Geeti and for all mothers like her as she watches her daughter face the same fate:
When you wished you were independent enough to take care of yourself after your husband’s death, why didn’t you make your daughter independent? You, in fact, let her walk the same path you did, encouraging her to always be dependent on her husband.
Empower those you love. Wanting to “protect” them by not teaching them any life skills might be the biggest disservice you could do to someone — just like Raza did to Malika.
