This week’s episode of Parizaad was one for the books! We were definitely not expecting the plot twist and it pleasantly caught us off-guard!
The recent episode of Parizaad ticked off all the boxes on our list! A big thanks to director Shahzad Kashmiri for not spoiling the surprise return of Bubbly badmash by giving it away in the teaser last week. Writer Hashim Nadeem must be appreciated for talking about issues faced by Guru jee & Bubbly Badmash that we as a society might be uncomfortable with.
Shahzad Kashmiri pulls off an interesting fight scene on the train entertaining us with a creditable action sequence. The moment Parizaad & Bubbly Badmash faced each other was entertaining to watch as it made them happy to see each other.
The writer gave a chance to two misfits of society to connect with each other & share their dil ki baat. However, we wonder if a slightly more rugged look for Bubbly now known as Dilawar should have been more realistic & added more depth to the character.

The Parizaad team deserves appreciation for showing a female police officer in charge. Nadia Afghan is playing the role in noteworthy style – from her mannerisms, her tone, to her makeup, everything is complimenting her role & helping normalise the existence & contribution of female police officers to show that they are capable & dignified in the positions they hold.
