YouTuber and actor Khaqan Shahnawaz, isn’t afraid to accept he has a social media following and a pretty face which help in making him stand out among the sea of actors. He is brutally honest and knows it. An actor, content creator & a lawyer by profession, Khaqan is certainly more than meets the eye, and this is why we had to sit down with him for a one one one.
But before that, let’s take a quick look at his claim to fame. We saw him debut in Barwan Khilladi. Subsequently, he graced dramas such as College Gate, Yunhi, and now features in the popular ARY Entertainment-led drama, Sukoon. While he has a penchant for sharing his opinions, he has grown more cautious over time, not out of fear but due to a heightened sense of responsibility towards the youngsters who look up to him as their idol.
Having a natural inclination for speaking his mind and debating, he developed an interest in Law and pursued it academically. Despite becoming a corporate lawyer and practicing law, he discovered that it wasn’t his passion. He says: “I hated it!” He then worked briefly at a local channel. Eventually, he transitioned into becoming a content creator with aspirations of pursuing an acting career. He says he has been told he is a romantic and his love language is that he will make sure that you as a human being do great. “I will make sure that I tell you everything you do wrong, And I tell you how to do things, I take interest in your life.”
Well, he was in for an exclusive interview at FUCHSIA HQ and we took the opportunity to ask him some fun questions for his fans to get to know him better! Here is what he divulged:

1. If Khaqan wasn’t a content creator or an actor, what would he be?
He sure is multi-faceted!
Khaqan Shahnawaz: A News Anchor!
2. Karachi, Lahore Or Sialkot. And Why?
Khaqan is originally from Sialkot having moved to Lahore to pursue his A-levels degree and then staying there for work, later moving to Karachi recently.
Khaqan Shahnawaz: Sialkot because that’s where my parents are.
3. A Motto You Live By?
Khaqan Shahnawaz: Always try to be a better version of yourself
4. Where does the inspiration for your content come from?
Khaqan Shahnawaz: My inspiration is everybody and everything I watch, there’s content in everything (spoken like a true content creator)
5. There’s generally a notion – men don’t need skincare. Do you believe in it or you are, putting all judgements aside, you are particular about your skincare and beauty?
Khaqan Shahnawaz: I believe in skincare, there is no need for me to not believe in it because skincare is not just a concept, it’s a very real thing. You need to take care of your skin the same way as girls do, of your nails, your hair and your clothes.
Girls, Khaqan follows an impressive skincare routine btw. He says: “I have a vitamin C face wash, a moisturizer, I use a hyaluronic acid serum, I do all these things and that’s why my skin looks the way it looks! Even after all the makeup every other day.”
6. What would your typical Saturday night look like?
Khaqan Shahnawaz: It looks like food, film and friends.
He keeps it simple and fun!
7. Who’s the friend you would go to and for what? Between Daniyal, Shahveer & Zarrar?
Khaqan Shahnawaz: I would always go out for food with Zarrar, would always like to hangout and play a sport with Shahveer and I would always like to have a conversation with Daniyal.
8. Is he into K-POP & K-dramas?
Khaqan Shahnawaz: Nope, I have only watched Squid Qame and Parasite. He says he listened to one BTS song but didn’t understand it. “It was an English-Korean mix”
9. Three songs you are listening to these days on repeat?
He is a true desi at heart!
Khaqan Shahnawaz: 295 Sidhu Moose wala, Sushi by Danny Zee & Jaani Jaani by Madlock!
