Pakistani YouTuber’s feud
Unless and until you’re living under a rock, you probably might have heard about the current heat between the Pakistani YouTube community especially about the infamous “Sham vs Ducky Bhai” war. So many different things going on that one doesn’t know who to believe now.
Let’s summarize for people who aren’t updated:
1. Sham Idrees and his wife “Froggy” came to Pakistan from Canada with the intention of promoting “together4pakistan.”
2. Sham called Ducky bhai to resolve previous issues but he obviously had to post the recorded phone conversation on his YouTube channel.
3. Ducky Bhai a.k.a Saad obviously got offended for releasing conversations about him without his consent.
4. Ducky bhai a.k.a Saad posted a video where he exposes Sham Idrees and claims that he has threatened his family. This video remained trending for an entire week and he won many hearts in the process.
5. Many from the YouTube community like ZAID ALI, MOOROO, SHAHVEER JAFRY took a stand for Ducky bhai and wanted Sham to publicly apologize to Ducky bhai.
6. The public apology never happened, hence more people stood up for Ducky and said things about SHAM or insulted him that they will probably regret.
7. FAST FORWARD TO SUNDAY 5TH MAY. During the meet and greet of Sham, Froggy allegedly got punched.
SHAM IDREES POSTED A VIDEO: ENDING THIS DRAMA FOREVER
Reading the title one would think that after this video there would be no drama. But no, that surely can’t happen ‘cause Sham’s video is a 23-minute video where he talked about five YouTubers who seemed to have some sort of feud with him
He started off with a short clip and pointed out to a random guy in a t-shirt and claimed that this guy had punched his wife. (Which btw doesn’t show that he was the guy to punch his wife)
Tip for Sham: Before posting allegations on someone, please be sure you’re 100 percent accurate ‘cause that could ruin someone’s life.
RAHIM PARDESI: Later on the video moved on to talk about Rahim Pardesi. He mentioned how they haven’t even met, however he is going around talking about him. To show further proof, Sham added email screen shots and clips from Rahim’s channel. At the end he addressed Rahim:
“This Ramadan find space in your heart to end this hatred.”
MOOROO: Next up was Mooroo a.k.a Tiamoor. Sham was obviously disheartened by Mooroo especially ‘cause Sham met him at the Lux Style Awards and complimented him. Mooroo was upset about Sham copying his content and sided with Ducky bhai. It got personal when Mooroo posted a video saying he feels bad as a husband for Froggy to deal with Sham.
Well, on the bright side Sham also left a little note for Mooroo!
SHAHVEER JAFRY: It was the Canadian heartthrob “Shahveer Jafry’s” turn and we all know this was going to get a little emotional. Sham was heartbroken because he considered Shahveer to be his little brother. Well, seems like the feelings were not mutual from Shahveer’s side. Sham claimed that Shahveer has been copying him for ages and he even went on about how Shahveer has come to Pakistan because Sham came to Pakistan. (Looks like someone hasn’t moved past kindergarten stage).
ZAID ALI: Well the video is too long but it definitely doesn’t end here. The next contestant of the video was obviously the main culprit according to Sham. If you haven’t guessed it yet, we are talking about Zaid Ali T.
Sham claimed that Zaid is the reason why no peace video was posted and Zaid has been manipulating DUCKY Bhai’s mind. Sham also posted a recording of phone conversations between Zaid and himself to further corroborate his claims.
DUCKY BHAI: Ducky bhai was the last person Sham addressed. Sham told ducky that Froggy is also someone’s daughter, wife and sister. He did apologize about leaking their phone conversation but clearly, the followers were expecting more from Sham.
We secretly wished we brought along some popcorn before we started to watch this story unfold. This video alone involves more drama than a high school spat. Nobody knows when the feud of “Sham vs Ducky bhai” will end but one thing is certain, the YouTube community is definitely not potraying a positive image of Pakistan. As it is Pakistan does not hold a good image globally and these YouTuber wars are not helping in any way. We really wish that the drama ends and everyone understands that their responsibility goes beyond the screen.
Message for Sham Idrees:
Before playing the blame game and making ‘fool-proof’ videos about others, you really need to take stock of yourelf. Please stop posting videos with deceiving titles. You employ clickbait titles that have nothing to do with the content inside your videos which is quite misleading. Having 1.7 million subscribers means a huge responsibility on your shoulders, esp. for the younger followers. Also, if you’re using the woman card to get out of this situation, think again. But since we are not sure if Froggy was really attacked, we as Pakistanis apologize to you.
Our country may not be the top 10 destination spots in the world, but it’s known for its hospitality and surely knows how to respect its guests.
