Tamasha Season 5 once again makes the audience wonder: will we ever get a fair game and a fair Badshah?

Tamasha Season 5 has been trending largely because of Dr. Zee Khan and Babrik Shah. We are not getting into the good or bad debate at the moment, but the truth is that both of them are carrying the entire season on their shoulders because the rest of the housemates aren’t that into the game as much as Zee and Babrik. But the way the Badshah treats Dr. Zee Khan is very problematic and raises issues about whom we give the power to make decisions when they themselves need to be corrected.
Hamza Joher and Dr. Zee Khan had a big fat fight over some questionable remarks allegedly passed by Hamza about girls and their dressing that Dr. Zee didn’t like or agree with and called out. While they were both at it, Dr. Zee Khan, as he always does, was acting weird, but he was still restrained and controlled. Meanwhile, Hamza was clearly furious and could have hit him if there was no one stopping him. Laila Jee clearly took advantage of the situation to shout and divert the attention towards her for being a true friend of Zee. That was not needed because every single person out there was trying to stop both of them.
But what the Badshah did afterwards is very, very problematic. First of all, you are the host of Tamasha. You cannot belittle someone like you did Dr. Zee yesterday. Constantly mocking someone, disrespecting them, and always pointing fingers at one person doesn’t suit someone in Badshah’s position, who is there to guide the contestants and take necessary, sometimes harsh, decisions for what is right. But this time, the Badshah has stooped too low.
Bashing Dr. Zee on why he brought up that topic and telling him that he broke the bro code? Excuse me? You are saying that boys do talk about women and the way they dress in a not-so-appropriate manner, but boys should not bring it up in front of everyone to respect the bro code? Instead of asking Hamza why he said it, he asked Zee multiple times why he brought it up. The Badshah needs to reassess himself. If he thinks joking about such things is okay in a boys’ group, then he needs help.
Meera Jee As A Wildcard In Tamasha Season 5 Was Not On My Bingo Card
As if the chaos wasn’t enough, the Tamasha team played their trump card, and the teasers show Meera Jee joining Tamasha today as a wildcard entry. Laila Jee for sure will be on top of things now, but will this entry damage Babrik’s game? Considering all three of them belong to the same domain, have worked together, and know about each other more than anyone else in the house, her entry may change the dynamics. And one thing we know for sure is that Laila is going to be the stronger one now. But will she leave Dr. Zee behind? I hope not!
I was the one who wrote Dr. Zee as problematic, but that doesn’t mean the Badshah should start acting weird, insulting him left, right, and centre, and constantly judging him. Calling out problematic behaviour is one thing, but humiliating someone and repeatedly mocking them is something else entirely. The Badshah has the authority to question contestants and hold them accountable, but that power should come with fairness and responsibility. If Dr. Zee needs to be corrected, then go ahead, you have all the right, but don’t turn it into a personal attack or make him the target every time something happens in the house.
So far, Zayb, Sahrish, and Ramsha are safe. Let’s see who gets eliminated this week! Who are you supporting this season? Let us know in the comments below!
