Before we divulge into a full-fledged review…the conspiracy theory is that Murtasim is playing a game, he is not really interested in Meerab. Which side are you on? So here we go…
Double Dose of Meerub & Murtasim
Fans and drama lovers are ecstatic as they got a double dose of cute, romantic and just heart winning scenes from their favourites Wahaj Ali and Yumna. Murtasim is not only charming, he is funny and at the same time there is this gentleness, this depth to him which is just impossible to resist. Like when he says “tumhein rotay huway nahin dekh sukta, ajeeb sa dard hota hai”. Well who wouldn’t want to hear that? He also appreciates and reminds Meerab who she really is. Something that no one else is doing in the family. Meerab becomes pareshaan and hairaan with Murtasim’s reactions, but she quickly recovers and rebuilds the walls around her. Meerab’s cute reactions complement Murtasim’s charm and Yumna Zaidi is just rocking it.
Star Plus Shades?
The story is not an identical copy of Indian Star Plus drama, “Is Pyar Ko Kiya Naam Doon” but some concepts and ideas definitely seem to be inspired from it and if it was not intentional, it is too much of a coincidence. We are glad that Waqas finally spoke to Anwar and also Ma Begum. We were tired of everyone just staying silent about the manner in which Meerub was being treated in her susral. Even though we are not for the thappar and do not agree with Ma Begum’s dictatorship, we agree with Murtasim that maybe Meerab needs to be respectful in her approach and in her over all attitudes. She can raise objections; she can say whatever she likes or chooses to do but with respect.
Continuity Issues?
The drama had continuity issues in several scenes. Like Meerab switching hairstyles within one sequence, the pillow being moved to the bed from the sofa on its own. We hope such issues will be sorted out in upcoming episodes.
What’s The Plan?
Ma Begum ka agenda kiya hai? Controlling Meerab or everyone in the house? And she will do it no matter what it takes. But maybe she made the wrong move by offending Murtasim. Murtasim and Meerab should have said Salam when they come to the breakfast table, these are basic manners. Fighting for your rights or trying to raise your voice for what is right doesn’t mean you have to misbehave or be discourteous.
