5. Raja London Ka
On number 5 we have Raja London Ka. That moment when Raja shoots a breezy YouTube video, inviting prospective buyers to his shop – the delivery was smooth, energetic, uplifting and oh so entertaining to watch. Raja London Ka has an unapologetic filmy feel to it and Samar Jafri picked it up by serving character goals in this scene.
4. Doctor Bahu
Minna when she discovers that Faizan shares a deeper bond with Dr. Amber, that it’s not just about a casual relationship, he shares his life events with her, was heartbreaking. Minna finding out about the pregnancy – the moment broke her completely. This was Hajra Yamin at her best as she conveys the sense of betrayal, loss and Minna’s final hopes to repair her marriage shattered, all in one moment. The scene belonged to Hajra – well played.

3. Leader
The twist that caught us by surprise, and shock… Rubab grabbing the pistol all of a sudden, only to end up shooting (and killing) Asif. It was a shocking game-changer and perhaps, the one moment, other than the sense of betrayal from Mansoor, that will trigger a monumental changeover in Rubab’s journey.
The scene that caused Asif’s sudden and shocking death was well-directed, with just the right mix of action to make audiences sit up and take note in an episode we thought was nearly over!
2. Bas Tera Saath Ho
And coming up on no. 2 is none other than Anas when he discovers the fake video on his phone. The sense of utter shock, bewilderment, shame that engulf him is depicted impactfully in the way he flings the phone away from himself, trembling, frozen in shock, unsure what to do next. Farhan Saeed essayed the involuntary horror of a cyber crime victim in a relatable, sensitive performance. Not just that, but the sense of isolation in his room, the knock on the door as Ambreen phoppo tries to find out what’s troubing Anas, all added to the moment.

1. Zanjeerain
The scene that comes out on top at number 1 is none other than Sajal Aly, Ameer Gilani, and Usman Javed in Zanjeerain. From the moment Rabeeya spotted Torsam’s menacing silhouette against the glass doors, the horror story began. Audiences were left on the edge of their seats, hoping against hope that Mudassir would somehow survive, worried sick for Rabeeya as she clung on to the ladder inside the water tank, half submerged in water, shivering in utter fear.
The final goodbye evoked a multitude of emotions in fans. As Mudassir drew the lid over the water tank, peering at Rabeeya intensely through the narrow slit, we felt the tension in the air. However, it didn’t end there as Mudassir and Torsam engaged in frenzied combat after, as Sir Buland raced to rescue his friend… the final moments were deeply tragic as Mudassir bid goodbye and asked Sir Buland to shelter Rabeeya.
This scene served major goals in action, suspense, emotion, tragedy and propelling the story forward, all in a matter of a few very tense moments. Well played Team Zanjeerain, take a bow!
