Yunhi – Was Basharat having a heart attack the only reason that Kim needed to stay back in Pakistan? Kim & Dawood are showing the classic case when you believe what you want to believe, both assuming on their own that Fizzah and George are more suitable for each other, forgetting all that they have both done or their feelings for each other.

Kim, Dawood & Fizzah
Kim and Dawood show how assumptions and misunderstandings lead to complications in relationships. Kim wants Dawood to stop her but won’t take the initiative herself. Pyar mein kiya ego Kim, if you love him, make sure you don’t let him go. Her insecurities and complaints that Dawood didn’t stop her and has actually taken the decision to divorce her, is making her assume he would want to be with his ex-class fellow Fizzah, when Dawood has clearly shown his feelings towards her and has also been standing behind her throughout.
Maybe now Kim will realize how Dawood felt when he saw her with George? Dawood is constantly talking about divorcing Kim which is a huge step in life. A decision that should not be taken lightly, especially since his family is advising him against it. We expect more from his earlier mature stance on life and marriage.
Some Endearing Moments
Iqbal taking the initiative and volunteering to visit the factory to take care of business was a refreshing change. Till now we have seen Iqbal always accepting any decision that has been made for her. Now we see her more confident and self-assured thanks to Zulfi’s trust and belief in her.
Kim’s conversation with Basharat is making Dawood think about what Kim said, especially that line she uttered: “I wanted to stay earlier but not now”. Will he ask her to stay eventually? What a beautiful conversation of Razia and Kim in Yunhi, with Razia saying: “I don’t know how to live my life without Basharat”. Maybe this is what love really meant for a lot of women some decades ago.
Kim’s Visit To Hospital
Kim taking initiative to make breakfast, wearing a scarf over her head and taking care of Basharat, all subtle changes that have happened in Kim over time and what Kim herself has accepted. Kim herself didn’t realize but she had actually accepted this family with her heart and maybe, was just being a little egoistic in not showing these changes practically. But this one event really moved her and brought her even closer to the family.
But seeing Fizzah with a hard scarf recalled the rebellious streak in Kim and she removed it, the minute she saw her. Maybe she didn’t want Dawood to think she did it because she saw Fizzah wearing a scarf.
