The Bollywood actress and Indian politician have the world buzzing with news of their nuptials. The couple got engaged in an intimate ceremony on May 13th, 2023 and officially tied the knot on September 24th in an intimate ceremony held in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
While the couple remained tight lipped about their romance, their frequent airport appearances and lunch dates sparked rumors leading up to their engagement which confirmed the love story finally. Both Parineeti & her politician husband studied in the UK which is where they met for the first time. While Raghav Chadha after his CA certification pursued his higher education at the prestigious London School of Economics with an Executive MBA, Parineeti was enrolled in the Manchester Business School where she obtained a triple honors degree in business, finance and economics. Even though Parineeti may have ended up in Bollywood and Raghav in politics by luck, their roots were in some way entwined with finance.
2. Parineeti’s Husband Is Not Just A Politician
Parineeti’s freshly announced husband, Raghav Chadha is the youngest member of the parliament, Rajya Sabha from Punjab, India. Furthermore, he is also a practicing chartered accountant. His journey from being an accountant to becoming the youngest member of parliament as part of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is hailed as a remarkable one by Indian media.

Since the news of her relationship and eventual engagement with the politician, a video of Parineeti’s previous interview has re surfaced. In an old interview, promoting a film she claimed she wouldn’t ever want to be in a relationship with a politician. Woah, a perfect example of an unexpected turn of events. She continued to say: “The problem is I don’t want to marry any politician. Media reports claim their love story so to say began on the sets of Parineeti’s movie with Diljit Dosanjh, ‘Chamkila’ directed by Imtiaz Ali. Parineeti was busy shooting for the film in Punjab when Raghav visited her on the sets. Though they were old friends, their meeting at the set ignited the sparks between them and the two of them eventually fell in love.

Apart from their initials, talking about the details of the accessory, Mrinalini told an Indian publication “The ‘kaleeras’ Parineeti wore featured several special motifs, like a London phone booth (London is where they met), their initials, religious charms (as an ode to their spiritual beliefs) and musical instruments as they both share an immense love for music. One breakfast that sparked a life-sharing journey’ also found a special place in Parineeti’s kaleeras as it featured the charms of coffee, a croissant, a strawberry muffin, pancakes and eggs they relished on the special breakfast date”
