Did your favorite make it to our list of Actors of The Week? Find out.
1. Wahaj Ali as Junaid in 22 Qadam
Mention worthy performance by Wahaj Ali as he wins hearts, making us feel teary eyed for Zaid. He leaves us wondering, did he ask Fari to leave because he doesn’t want Fari to be stuck with him, or were they really his initial feelings after the shock of the accident. The pain in his eyes and tone hit hard.
2. Hareem Farooq as Fari in 22 Qadam
Impressive performance by Hareem Farooq as she portrays the breakdown of Fari’s character which must have been building up inside and just needed that final nail in the coffin to come crashing down. Hareem made audiences cry with Fari as she broke down, giving up on her dreams.
3. Sabeena Farooq as Imaan in Grey
Sabeena once again is catching our attention. Her character portrayal of Imaan is mysterious, gives a hint of revenge, making us question; is she really telling the truth? Or finally, she has the courage to raise her voice. But one thing is for sure, there is more to Imaan than what we can see on the surface.
4. Kinza Hashmi as Husna in Khushbo Mein Basay Khat
Absolutely loved how Kinza Hashmi is pushing her comfort zone and wow-ing us as Husna in Khushboo Mein Base Khat. She is portraying Husna’s free, rebellious, daring and adventurous spirit brilliantly.
5. Sidra Niazi in Khushbo Mein Basay Khat
Loving this new look of Sidra Niazi. Her character feels jealous but still can’t let go of Zaryab. The exquisite Saris are adding to the allure of the character.
6. Saba Qamar as Salma in Tumharey Husn Kay Naam
Saba Qamar reminds us once again why she is queen of expressions and emotions. No matter what the character is, she will make you fall in love, with an aura that is simply irresistible. She is probably the best person to translate poetic elegance with a romantic aura from paper to screen.
7. Noor Ul Hassan as Baray Bhaiya in Mannat Murad
It makes you smile yet it also makes you realize how families can be overprotective of girls. The best part is that Noor Ul Hassan has made sure that you understand that how Baray Bhaiya is behaving is not completely correct, but many family members go through the feeling of not being important in your daughter or sister’s life after marriage.
