1. Dananeer as Roshi in Meem Se Mohabbat
Dananeer made us smile during various scenes as she portrayed the trouble Roshi has landed in during her internship. Her precious sleep and free time are both over and she has to do something she detests, which is reading. In this episode the expressions and dialoguer delivery were totally on point.
2. Nadia Jamil as Shakila in Faraar
Great performance by Nadia Jamil as we see a woman whose entire being is on fire because of her husband’s betrayal but then we also see her helplessness as her husband uses the man card and his physical strength to overcome her. Her performance made the scene interesting and engaging to watch.
Sheheryar Munawar as Rahim in Aye Ishq-e-Junoon
A powerful performance as Rahim not only confronts Aimen but also refuses to accept help from Farooq. The expressions in his eyes, the body language and hand movements, all were in sync to communicate to us how helpless, frustrated and betrayed he felt.
4. Tazeen Hussain as Bisma in Qarz-e-Jaan
Bisma makes us feel for her, and then also makes us frustrated for not being able to take a stand for herself and her daughter. Tazeen Hussain is doing an amazing job at portraying these complex yet obvious layers and dynamics of Bisma’s character.
5. Yumna Zaidi as Nashwa in Qarz-e-Jaan
What a heart winning performance by Yumna Zaidi as Nashwa when Bisma slaps Nashwa. The ways she responds: “aapko marna nahin chahiye tha”. Yumna Zaidi certainly knows how to make audiences connect with the character.
6. Sehar Khan as Rabi in Tan Man Neel O Neel
It is such treat to watch Sehar Khan as Rabi in Tan Man Neel O Neel. Totally enjoying her performance. She is delivering Rabi’s character with ease and a heartening performance. It makes you respect her; keeps you invested in her character and at the same time, feel for her.
7. Usama Khan as Ammar in Sunn Mere Dil
Usama is doing a great job portraying the confused and weak human being who is not able to fight his doubts and insecurities. Instead, he is taking the easier route of cheating on Sadaf.
8. Samiya Mumtaz in Tan Man Neel O Neel
What a beautiful and entertaining performance, as she can’t resist Rabi’s singing which makes her want to dance once again. The way Samiya Mumtaz performed that entire scene carried a beautiful feel to it. It was more than a dance – a moment of precious self expression and grace.
9. Sohail Sameer as Farooq in Aye Ishq-e-Junoon
Sohail Sameer as Rahim’s step uncle is the hope that we have to save Rahim. Sohail Sameer is keeping the grey shades of the character intact. Even though he has saved Rahim, he has not held Shehroze accountable.
