Qarz e Jaan: The drama continues to intrigue with a web of interesting characters who keep us invested in their journeys. Have Nashwa and Burhan totally fallen for each other?

What will it take for Asim to propose marriage once again to Bisma? And how will Ammar handle Maheen’s case, now that he knows it has been reopened?
Asim’s Resentment
We were glued to the screen when Asim says he hates Bisma. Years of bitterness, anger and an unfulfilled love story have made him resentful, though we know that deep down, he still loves her. Is Bisma just as resentful as Asim about her past?
Faisal Rehman turns out a great performance and his onscreen chemistry with every character is marvelous.
Gen Z Conversations
Burhan, Faryal and Nashwa philosophizing on potential life partners was an interesting conversation. It was great to see outdoor scenes. Young cousins heading out for a cup of chai in a shaadi household was so relatable. Usually, such conversations seem pointless or fillers to highlight a romantic connection between couples, but this one; about how one knows if the person is right for you, and whether you should marry within or outside the family was very Gen Z relatable.
Qudsia and Asim talking about the past and how Burhan was adopted was another interesting conversation. Now we know (although we had predicted that) that Asim never married. Perhaps if someone were to tell Bisma that as well, she might have a slight change of heart towards him. We’re counting on Qudsia to do the job.
A Questionable Move?
Qarz e Jaan is going so well however, one scene that made no sense and was a bit inappropriate, was the cousins photoshoot where Burhan used his phone camera to take pictures, obviously, ahem, so he could take some of Nashwa? Did you feel as well that the scene was unnecessarily forced, could have been executed better or not at all?
What will Ammar and Bakhtiar do now that Maheen’s case has been reopened? Nashwa reminding Ammar that he might need a lawyer made us curious. Will she help Ammar fight his case from the other side, and that too, against Burhan? The story could turn out super interesting at this point, especially since it was Burhan who had taught her to keep her personal emotions aside when dealing handling a case.
The elders are thinking of marrying Faryal and Ammar, however, seems like Burhan and Nashwa have other plans.
Qarz e Jaan has us hooked, waiting for what happens next.
