Eid is just around the corner, which means it’s time for family gatherings, endless feasting, and—most importantly—an Eid telefilm that brings the house down with laughter. And this year, ARY has something extra special in store: “Badru Chacha Ka Makaan”—a comedy that promises to serve up laughs as generously as we Pakistanis serve mithai on chaand raat.

The Dream Team: Sarmad Khoosat + Saba Hassan + An All-Star Cast
First things first—when you hear Sarmad Khoosat is directing, you know you’re in for something brilliant. The man who gave us everything from gut-wrenching dramas to lighthearted masterpieces is back, and this time, he’s teaming up with writer Saba Hassan And let’s not forget the incredible cast:
This cast feels like a breath of fresh air, bringing together a mix of seasoned performers and rising stars who are making us genuinely excited to see them in a comedy role.
Merub Ali and Nameer Khan, the young guns ready to bring fresh energy.
Sohail Sameer, because he manages to magically slip into every character he takes on with unnerving ease.
Mohammad Ahmed, the ultimate TV dad (or in this case, maybe chacha?), we’re just throwing our best guess here, folks.
Sania Saeed, a legend whose expressions alone are enough to make any scene hilarious.
So… Who is Badru Chacha and What’s Up with His Makaan?
Badru Chacha and his beloved makaan (house). Is it haunted? About to be demolished? Or is there a very nosy extended family trying to take over? Maybe Badru Chacha is the ultimate desi landlord, setting absurd house rules (no shoes inside, no loud laughter after Maghrib, and absolutely no touching his chai cups). Or perhaps this is about a classic family inheritance showdown—because what’s an Eid gathering without some good old-fashioned ghar ki politics?
A New Production House with a Bang
Another exciting part? “Badru Chacha Ka Makaan” is 3’s Entertainment’s first-ever production! This brand-new production house, helmed by Sheheryar Munawar, Sonia Khan, and Salman Iqbal, is making its debut with this Eid special. And if Sheheryar Munawar’s past projects are any indication, we can expect a film that’s visually stunning, well-paced, and full of heart.
Here’s what Director Sarmad Khoosat posted on Instagram

Badru Chacha ka Makaan
Eid + Comedy = The Perfect Pairing
Eid telefilms are a genre of their own—feel-good, family-friendly, and just the right mix of chaos and warmth. And after the heavy, tear-jerking dramas that rule our screens most of the year, we deserve a comedy that lets us sit back, laugh out loud, and just enjoy some old-school fun.
So, if you’re looking for a reason to stay glued to your screen after stuffing yourself with sheer khurma, “Badru Chacha Ka Makaan” is it. It’s got an A-list cast, a powerhouse director, a brand-new production house making a big debut, and most importantly—a whole lot of buttery goodness.
Will Badru Chacha keep his makaan safe? Or will Eid morning bring a hilarious twist? We can’t wait to find out!
