Yumna Zaidi and Hamza Sohail starrer Ramzan drama, Dekh Zara Pyar Se, has its first teaser out – and if there’s one thing the teaser promises for sure, it’s that this one is going to be different!

Fans of Ramzan dramas are in for a refreshing change, and the teaser gives us just enough to get excited without giving too much away.
Right from the start, the teaser sets itself apart. It opens with a split-screen, giving us a peek into both Yumna Zaidi’s and Hamza Sohail’s worlds. And the first thing you notice is how similar their characters are. They move the same way, have the same little habits, and even their quirks feel mirrored. It’s not the usual formula where the boy and girl are complete opposites who eventually fall in love. Instead, we’re seeing a story that promises harmony, reflection, and a subtle connection right from the beginning.
The calmness of the teaser is immediately striking. There’s no loud drama, no exaggerated expressions, and none of the over-the-top moments we often see in Ramzan dramas. Each shot feels thoughtfully composed, letting the story breathe and the characters’ personalities shine. This measured approach makes it feel more contemporary, almost like a story that values subtlety over spectacle.
Director Ali Hassan deserves a lot of credit here. The pacing, framing, and even the small gestures all hint at a director who wants to tell a story differently. You can tell that every frame has a purpose, and there’s a deliberate effort to steer clear of clichés. It’s this careful direction that gives the teaser its distinct feel – gentle, yet intriguing.
The split-screen technique is more than just a visual gimmick. It immediately sets up the idea of mirrored lives, highlighting similarities rather than contrasts. The playful, bubbly voiceover adds a lighthearted charm to the teaser, giving it an uplifting feel without overwhelming the viewer. Combined with the visuals, it hints that the drama will explore the subtle ways two people can be in sync without being exactly the same. And naturally, it makes you wonder: How will their worlds intersect? Will their similarities bring harmony or spark unexpected surprises?
Even without any dialogues in the teaser, the performances shine. Yumna Zaidi and Hamza Sohail convey so much through expressions, gestures, and body language alone, making the teaser feel effortless yet engaging. The fact that this is a Saima Akram Chaudhry play – whose work audiences really missed last Ramzan – makes it even more appealing. Her signature storytelling promises warmth, humor, and heartfelt moments, all of which are hinted at beautifully even in this short teaser.
This could very well be the Ramzan drama that breaks the usual mold – and that’s exciting in itself.
The drama is written by Saima Akram Chaudhary and directed by Ali Hassan. It is produced by Momina Duraid under the banner of MD Productions and it stars Yumna Zaidi and Hamza Sohail in lead roles.
