Aap Ki Izzat: Does Beena really not love Tabish anymore? What would you do if you were in Beena’s place? Should she forgive him? Why is she not forgiving him and going back to him?

Is it because she doesn’t trust that he will truly be faitful, respectful to her and that he will value her now? In all honesty, her fears would be correct—she has no way of being certain if he has truly changed and is not just doing it so she would go back and her interest is protected. Also, she knows if she goes back, all the “rishtey” around her—being a mother, a sister, a daughter, etc.—will become hurdles in her way, and she will never be free.
Is that why Tabish has asked her to stay with him during iddat after talaq, so he can show her, prove to her, that he has changed and she should give him another chance?
Does Behram’s sudden change in tone and behaviour with his wife, the moment he was freed from prison, represent what every man will do once their wife forgives them and returns home. Does Beena already suspect this change in Tabish’s behaviour and hence, doesn’t want to ever forgive him?
Does a man deserve a second chance in such a situation when he is sorry and ashamed? Can a trust that is broken ever be the same? Or do we need to realize marriage is more than ego and mistakes—it is all about second chances, forgiveness, and realizing the importance of the other person.
The drama must be appreciated for not losing momentum, even with the script being very simple at this point, constrained in one police station room with just 3-4 characters. It is not easy to keep the audience engaged, and the drama is doing it brilliantly.
