Ali, the ex-husband, has joined KKR, Kamran and Rohit’s business.
Beenish seems to have noticed a glitch in Kamran’s almost-perfect planning. Case No. 9 has taken an interesting turn which is thrilling, exciting, and keeps you hooked to every episode. At the same time, it continues to educate audiences and shed light on the darker sides of society.

Kamran is trying to be too smart for his own good — and that will probably be his downfall. He wants to give his statement under oath, which would allow Beenish to cross exam him. That’s exactly what Bukhari doesn’t want, so he’s strongly advising him against this.

The revelation that Mureed might have been in Kandiaro, a seven-hour bus ride from Karachi, proves he might not have been at Kamran’s house for more than a day. This shows Kamran had been planning everything for a while; it wasn’t an impulsive act but a carefully thought-out scheme.

Seher’s mother turns out to be the strongest among the three family members. When everyone expected her to break down, she stood firm and gave such strong responses to Bukhari sahib that audiences couldn’t help but cheer, that finally someone is giving Bukhari a tough time!

The drama also educates viewers on how important the FIR (First Information Report) is. The way it’s written can affect who can testify, and how the entire case proceeds. Shafeeq and Bukhari deliver stellar performances, making it almost believable that Shafeeq isn’t involved in any foul play. Yet, the drama makes it clear that the judge knows exactly how Shafeeq operates, giving us hope for justice.

Kiran keeps looking at Manisha, but neither of them initiates a conversation, which feels strange. If not Kiran, Manisha could have at least approached her directly. Manisha also tries to make Rohit see that he’ll be responsible for whatever happens to Seher, but her efforts seem to go in vain. You can’t help but wish someone would tell Rohit that, just as Kamran once saved him from injustice, now it’s his turn to save Seher.

The drama also shows a bitter truth of our society — how young men taunt and mock each other, using such moments to satisfy their egos, often targeting the victim’s family with derogatory remarks. Saad, Seher’s brother, is struggling the most with the ghairat (honor) aspect of the situation.

While Bukhari sahib continues to underestimate Beenish, she has proven to be sharp, composed, and capable. Her stance from the start has been clear — that the key lies in finding inconsistencies or missing links in the witnesses’ statements. That’s how the case will be cracked.

Finally, the drama emphasizes why it’s important to fight a case — even if you might lose. Sometimes, you need to know you tried your best; and if you win, that single victory can set an example and deter others from committing similar crimes

Ali makes sure Rohit doesn’t attend the court hearing, a move that will affect his relationship with Kamran and also send a strong message to the court.
