Our Very First Thoughts After Watching The Trailer!
“Chhorne ke liye hath nahi thama tha, aur jo haath mein thamoon, usay maut ka farishta hi alag kar sakta hai”
Haroon Kadwani AKA Tabraiz, Our Intense Hero!
What makes a Pakistani drama an intense watch? A love story packed with obstacles, a hero not willing to give up on his queen and of course a dose of action, as long as the action is well-executed and gets hearts pumping – with Haroon Kadwani and Komal Meer, that seems a possibility. Ishq Hua trailer seems to pack it all in, aiming to level up the drama game in the Pakistani drama industry and anticipation is high!
We have Tabraiz, our leading guy played by Haroon Kadwani. Our hero knows how to handle a gun, fight in the streets, and seemingly lacks a soft side for the world, but he does have a soft corner for someone; keep reading to find out who that lucky person is.
Then there’s Minsa played by Komal Meer, our leading lady, apparently sharp, not a damsel in distress but one who stands tall to face all challenges for love with her Romeo, Tabraiz, by her side and some actions moves to keep things interesting — do we already have a heroine we don’t often see in our dramas? The chemistry between Haroon and Komal looks so promising. Tabraiz, in the company of Minsa, seems quiet, subdued and totally in love, while Minsa is strong, bold, and madly in love with Tabraiz—a truly balanced love story. They are expected to fall in a crazy kind of love and that’s when the action begins.
But, let’s talk about the feel of the drama first. From the first shot, it’s a rollercoaster ride all the way. The frames are eye catching and cinematic, and one definitely gets big screen movie feels. The sepia-toned frames and the filmy aura—oh-so-filmy feels, are visually pleasing. Ishq Hua trailer promises a cinematic experience, that too from the comfort of our home.
Onwards to the dark side of the story
Bahaar, played by Sohail Sameer, is a villain who doesn’t need an introduction. And then there is Rukhsar, played by Sahar Hashmi, the unlucky in love “other” woman who is also in love with Tabraiz, but Tabraiz’s heart belongs to Minsa of course. At the end of the trailer, we see our leads teary-eyed, which makes us wonder: Are they going to meet a tragic end, or is this just the beginning of their love saga?
Ishq Hua seems to be action-packed, with thrilling sequences in possibly every episode, and the filmy vibes are undeniable. From the meticulous attention to detail with costumes to the carefully curated angled shots, every aspect promises a visually stunning and engaging drama. Will Ishq Hua turn out to be one of its own kind?
